Leg 1: Since beating the Mavericks on Oct. 23, the Wizards have dropped nine in a row. But this is a massive spread and Washington is at least showing signs of life. The last two defeats have been by 6 and 2 points. Houston is only 1-2 ATS at home.

Leg 2: Rockets guard Reed Sheppard averages 11.2 ppg, right about on this prop line. But he’s earned more minutes the last two games and scored 16 points in both of them. If Rockets starters gain rest due to a blowout result, Sheppard, 21 and in his first contributing season, may get increased time.

Leg 3: The aggressive Rockets center Alperen Sengun averages 9.9 rpg on the season, and here he faces a Wizards team that allows more rebounds to centers than any other team, a massive 18.2 rpg. Sengun has registered 10-plus boards in four of five games in November, and nine in the other. The only concern is this one get’s out of hand early and Sengun’s minutes get slashed. If he gets his usual minutes, he’s getting double-digit boards.
