Betting Tip: Leicester City +1.00 @ 11/10 with bet365

There’s no reason to think Leicester City will now fail in their bid to win a first ever Premier League title.

The Foxes didn’t win at the Etihad Stadium thanks to a smash and grab raid but more because they roundly outplayed Manchester City in every possible department.

Did the defence stand up to the task? Yes. Did Leicester counter to devastating effect? Yes. Did they show a stronger team spirit? Yes.

We could go on. Although attention is now focused on Sunday’s trip to the Emirates and there must surely be feverish anticipation in the away end that Leicester can make another giant stride towards the title.

Arsenal have been stymied by Chelsea and Southampton at the Emirates in recent weeks and they could run up against a brick wall on Sunday, with this hard-working Foxes defence being expertly marshalled by Robert Huth and Wes Morgan.

Drinkwater and Kante have formed a solid midfield pact and then there are the star attacking performers of Mahrez and Vardy.

That’s not to say they will have much possession on Sunday, although Arsenal will have to be canny if they are to fashion chances against this team.

Alexis Sanchez is capable of trickery and goals, while Mesut Ozil can thread the ball through the eye of a needle, although the same can be said of David Silva and Sergio Aguero – look what happened last weekend.

Therefore, we’re punting on Leicester with the handicap for this one, with Claudio Ranieri’s side having only lost one match away from home all term.

Indeed, that was a 1-0 reverse on Boxing Day at Anfield, so every other occasion where you backed Leicester +1 on the handicap would have seen you cop on this bet.
