Ryan Moore is riding out of his skin right now and fresh from a five-timer at Newbury on Saturday, he could be worth following at Leicester this evening.

He kick off on the William Haggas-trained AUXILIARY in the opening 5f maiden and the £70,000 son of Fast Company may prove good enough to see off eight rivals, only one of which, Comedy Night, has seen the race track before. As always in these type of races the market will prove the best guide, but the booking of Moore seems highly significant, with his winning record on the stable runners standing at a healthy 24%.

He teams up with his father in the selling stakes with his mount Cry Fury put in as an early 15/8 favourite. The seven-year-old is taking a massive drop in class here having run in Great Metropolitan Handicap at Epsom last time. However, he finished stone last in that race and he hasn’t been running much better over hurdles, so with plenty to prove he’s swerved at such short odds. Pearl Ransom makes far more appeal.
