These teams played on 28 November where Everton appeared to be coasting 2-0 up with ten minutes remaining.

However, a breathless end to the match saw Bournemouth score two goals before the Toffees thought they had pinched the win. Then there was that late late equaliser from Junior Stanislas.

The conclusion from this match? Both teams are suspect defensively, even if Everton have tightened up in recent weeks, with James McCarthy returning to central midfield.

Bournemouth were beaten 3-1 by Stoke last weekend, with the Cherries lively going forward although they haven’t kept a clean sheet in five games.

Benik Afobe has filled the gap left by the injured Callum Wilson earlier this term and Eddie Howe’s team should be good for goals, although Everton will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet too.

The Toffees had been scoring bundles of goals including three at Carlisle in the previous round, with Aaron Lennon helping to add another dimension and there haven’t been too many games where Romelu Lukaku has scored this term.

Allied to the fact that this is an FA Cup game which allows both teams to play in a relaxed carefree manner and we’re happy to go over the two goals count here.
