A winless run of eight matches suggested that Brighton & Hove Albion were going to fall out of the Championship promotion picture altogether, although the Seagulls have got themselves back on the wagon.

Since losing 2-0 at Rotherham on 12 January, Chris Hughton’s side have claimed five wins from their past seven encounters including a 4-0 thrashing of Bristol City at Ashton Gate last week.

Tomer Hemed and Jamie Murphy have suddenly found their shooting boots, with Brighton still boasting impressive home form which has seen them claim eleven victories from sixteen encounters at the AMEX Stadium.

Leeds are struggling for goals to the extent where they’ve managed just one goal in their last four encounters.

Steve Evans’ team managed a 1-1 draw with Fulham during the week, although the side are short of a striker or two, with United one of several teams treading water in the middle of the Championship.

We should expect the visitors to line up defensively for this one, although defeats at Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich suggest that the Yorkshire side are unlikely to get anything from their trip to the south coast to face a team whose confidence levels have shot back up recently.
