Betting Tip: Hartlepool +1.00 @ 1/1 with ladbrokes

Ronnie Moore guided Hartlepool out of the relegation zone against all the odds last season, with the scouser now hoping to avoid another scrap against the drop in League Two this term.

After winning the opening four matches of the campaign in all competitions, it’s been a struggle for Pools who have managed to win just three more games, the latest of which was a fortunate FA Cup victory against Cheltenham last weekend.

However, Moore was grateful of the win and hope it spurs his team to enjoy a decent run against an Orient side who are hardly pulling up any trees on the road.

The London team have won just three of their eight away games, with Ian Hendon’s team thrashing Staines in the FA Cup last weekend although this had been preceded by just one win in five games.

It certainly doesn’t pay to be backing odds-on shots like this, with Pools worth a bet on the handicap market which means they simply have to claim a draw for us to enjoy a profit with this bet.
