Betting Tip: Draw @ 3/1 with bet365

Mauricio Pochettino won’t be selecting Andros Townsend for Thursday night’s clash against Anderlecht and Tottenham might not have enough quality to claim an important three points in this Europa League clash.

Spurs have got a hectic fixture schedule this week which saw the English side triumph 3-1 against Aston Villa and this European fixture is also book-ended by Sunday’s derby at the Emirates.

Thankfully, Arsenal also had a tricky midweek match but Pochettino will surely rotate his squad for a match where victory can give them the box seat when it comes to qualifying for the last 32.

Kieran Trippier, Federico Fazio, Ben Davies, Ryan Mason and Josh Onomah should all play in this clash, with Anderlecht good enough to squeeze a draw out of this fixture.

After all, the Belgian side beat Spurs two weeks ago and know that this match is low priority considering the Arsenal match looms large.

Pochettino has admitted that the run of fixtures is hardly ideal and that means putting faith in the reserve players, although Townsend’s bust up with the fitness coach after the Villa victory means that options are limited.
