Tip 1 - 1:15 Perth - Chanonry Point
After two wins, one in a point-to-point and one in a bumper, Chanonry Point put in a lackluster performance over hurdles. However, there does look to be an excuse for that as she has undergone a wind-op since she was last on the track. If that had done the trick she should have no trouble in resuming winning ways here.

Tip 2 - 2:15 Exeter - Guillaume
It’s been a couple of years since Guillaume last won but he’s yielded lots of positive results in his 15 runs since then, including form of 262235 going back to May. He’s not always been up there at the end but this field looks weaker than many of his recent outings, and today’s mark of 82 is a career low.

Tip 3 - 3:10 Yarmouth - Dashing Dick
Winning doesn’t tend to come easily to Dashing Dick, but he is intriguingly handicapped at a course he has performed well at before. Was a good second in this race last year from five pounds higher and hasn’t tasted victory since July last year in fact. Has hit the frame five times in the intervening period, including three times here. Has one win and three places from five course-and-distance runs, and his four career wins have come from marks of 73, 74, 77 and 74, so today’s 75 looks well within reach.

Tip 4 - 3:17 Curragh - Cameo
The ground at the Curragh today is expected to be bottomless, which is something of an unknown for most of the field. That isn’t the case with Cameo, who won with similar conditions over 7f here a couple of months ago. She has something to find with La Fogata on a Punchestown meeting in September, but today’s going and trip will be much more to Cameo’s liking. She’s fancied to keep on improving for Aidan O’Brien. .

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
