The Masters is a tradition unlike any other, as they keep telling us, but so is Masters betting. Because of that, online sportsbooks continue to tee up great promotions.

Over at BetMGM, new players making their first deposit can win $100 in free bets with a $1 (or more) moneyline wager on any golfer to win the Masters. Here’s how to claim this BetMGM promo, which runs until 6 a.m. ET Thursday.

  • Make a deposit into your account (minimum $10)
  • As your first bet, place a minimum $1, pre-tournament wager on any golfer to win at standard odds price
  • If any golfer makes a birdie at The Masters, you will receive $100 in additional winnings as free bets, regardless of your wager’s outcome

Free Bets will be broken down into two $50 bets and will be credited automatically to your account within 24 hours of the end of the event. Free Bets are limited to one per person, household (IP address) and/or computer. Free Bets can only be redeemed via online or app and must be used as a single bet within 7 days of being credited to your account. They can’t be redeemed for cash at any time

The offer is available to new bettors 21 or older in a state where BetMGM is licensed and regulated. You can check out the latest Masters winner odds here.

A couple of caveats. First, online customers claiming this BetMGM promo will not be eligible to receive the Risk-Free First Bet up to $500 welcome offer or any other “new customer” sports promotion offer. Second, if you opt to cash out early though the “Cash Out or “Auto Cash Out” features, you will no longer be eligible for this promo. The same is true if you use the “Edit My Bet” feature or opt to have that initial bet cancelled.

There are plenty of terrific storylines in this year’s Masters, which returns to the traditional April date after moving to November last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tiger Woods will miss the event because of injuries sustained in a traffic accident, but defending champion Dustin Johnson, the favorite, leads a loaded field.
