The AFC South-leading Tennessee Titans have a new sports betting partner.

BetMGM is the team’s first official sports betting partner, representing the state’s first official partnership between a professional sports team and sports betting platform.

Last week, BetMGM received a conditional license to offer online sports betting in Tennessee, one of three licenses approved by the Tennessee Education Lottery Corp., along with DraftKings and FanDuel.

“We are thrilled to bring BetMGM to the state of Tennessee,” Gil Beverly, Titans senior vice president, chief marketing and revenue officer, said in a news release. “BetMGM will deliver new experiences and levels of engagement to our fans and we’re excited to welcome them in as an official partner.”

The Titans (3-0) won a 31-30 thriller over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday and lead the Indianapolis Colts (2-1) by one game in the division early on this season. Tennessee plays host to the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) on Oct. 4.

BetMGM’s NFL Deals

This is the fourth deal BetMGM has reached with an NFL team as an official sports betting partner this year. It also has been a gaming partner of the New York Jets since October 2018. The other deals this year:

  • On Sept. 17, the Raiders announced BetMGM as an official sports betting partner, extending an existing multiyear agreement between MGM Resorts and the Raiders. MGM Resorts was the presenting sponsor of the Raiders’ home opener against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, Sept. 21.
  • On Sept 3, the Lions and BetMGM announced their partnership that included team broadcast programming, digital marketing assets and in-stadium promotions and signage.
  • On July 9, the Broncos announced that BetMGM would be its third sports betting partner after deals with FanDuel and Betfred earlier in the month.

BetMGM also has partnerships with the PGA Tour and NASCAR.

More on the Titans Deal

BetMGM will receive brand visibility across multiple Titans digital assets and key in-game moments, such as field goal attempts, video board replays, and more, according to the news release.

It will also become the exclusive naming rights partner of the Titans’ television studio at Saint Thomas Sports Park and will be home to Titans All Access, the Coach Mike Vrabel Show plus additional content aired throughout Tennessee.

“The Titans are an incredible organization and we’re proud to have BetMGM as the team’s first official sports betting partner,” BetMGM Chief Marketing Officer Matt Prevost said in the release. “This is truly a partnership between two great brands and we’re excited to introduce Titans fans to new ways to engage with their favorite football team.”

BetMGM also will sponsor a soon-to-be-announced Titans raffle benefitting The Titans Foundation, which directs funds to community organizations across the state.

The BetMGM mobile app is scheduled to go live in the state by Nov. 1 when online sports betting is scheduled to launch, pending regulatory approval. The app is currently available for download in seven states on iOS and Android.
