Game 1 laid out the problems for Los Angeles clearly. The Lakers turned the ball over 17 times, and Oklahoma City converted those turnovers into 20 points. Austin Reaves, who averaged 23.3 points in the regular season, shot 3-for-16 and finished with just 8 points. The Lakers shot 41.7% from the field and 33.3% from three. LeBron James was the only Laker who showed up, scoring 27 points and keeping it competitive for stretches. The key question for Game 2 is whether Reaves can bounce back. He was one of the best guards in the regular season and showed flashes of that form late in the Houston series. A 3-for-16 shooting night is not who Austin Reaves is. If he gets back to 20-plus points and the Lakers cut the turnovers in half, Los Angeles is competitive in this game. For the Thunder, Paycom Center is as locked in as it gets. Oklahoma City has lost only two home playoff games across the last two postseasons.
