Youngest and Oldest NBA Teams 2025-26: Team Breakdown
The L.A. Clippers rode their veteran lineup – including James Harden and Kawhi Leonard – on an 18-3 run to close last season. That surge clinched the No. 5 seed in the West. But Father Time caught them quickly once again in the playoffs, as the Clippers were eliminated in the first round for the 3rd straight season.
The Clippers did not hold back in the offseason when it came to stocking the pantry with veterans. They added Bradley Beal (32) and Brook Lopez (37), in addition to Paul. But everything they do revolves around the 36-year-old Harden.
Neither Harden nor Paul has won an NBA championship in their 36 seasons combined.
The Nets continue their transition period this year after finishing 12th in the East in 2024-25. They brought back 6 players but added 5 players taken in the first round of the draft. Nothing says “Rebuild” louder than 5 rookies: Egor Dëmin, Nolan Traoré, Drake Powell, Ben Saraf and Danny Wolf.
Cam Thomas, just 23 but entering his 5th season, led the Nets with 24 points per game last season despite missing 57 games. They extended him in September. He'll remain their go-to option on offense.
