The NFC West has looked to be the best division of the early weeks of the 2021 NFL season. Week 4 offers the opportunity to see which of those teams look to be the best of that bunch, something NFL futures bettors undoubtedly will be watching.

Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams host Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals, and Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers host Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in a pair of marquee 4:05 p.m. ET matchups.

Of course, all NFL Week 4 odds are overshadowed by the Brady vs. Belichick showdown on Sunday Night Football. Betting sites are expecting a ton of action.

However, in terms of on-the-field excellence, the best football might be seen late Sunday afternoon.

Before you make your NFL picks, check out our a deep dive into NFL odds for Week 4. Here is a complete list of NFL Week 4 odds, movements and more.

Thursday, Sept. 30

Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals (-7.5), 8:20 p.m. ET

Only Zach Wilson had a worse QB rating than No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence through two weeks, and it didn’t much better in Week 3 with two INTs and just one TD in a 31-19 home loss to the Cardinals. His 50% completion rate is easily worst. And yet, Jacksonville’s 27th-ranked offense ranks higher than its defense.

Joe Burrow bounced back nicely Sunday in a 24-10 over the rival Steelers, with three TDs on an efficient 14-of-18 passing with 172 yards. He tossed just one INT, which is a step in the right direction. In Week 2, he handed the Bears a win with back-to-back-to-back INTs, including one run back for a TD. The Jaguars defense has only one INT on the season.

Sunday, Oct. 3

Carolina Panthers at Dallas Cowboys (-4.5), 1 p.m. ET

Sam Darnold and the Panthers have put the NFL on notice with three impressive victories. While the offense often gets the attention, it’s been a defense that is allowing 10 ppg through three weeks that is driving the train. It may need to keep up that level with RB Christian McCaffrey (groin) expected to miss at least a couple of weeks.

The Cowboys have to be optimistic, but success remains a work in progress, with each game decided by a FG or less through two weeks. Dak Prescott is averaging 320 yards through the air.

Take a look at Panthers vs Cowboys odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Indianapolis Colts at Miami Dolphins (-2.5), 1 p.m. ET

Jonathan Taylor’s sophomore year after a breakout rookie campaign has yet to take off. He’s averaging 53.5 ypg and hasn’t reached the end zone. Taylor had 64 yards but on only 10 carries before Indy abandoned the run. At least the Colts have been successful vs. the Dolphins lately; Indy has beaten Miami in six of the last eight meetings.

Jacoby Brissett nearly willed the Dolphins to a win at Las Vegas on Sunday, but they fell in OT. The offense wasn’t overly productive until the final two minutes and part of OT, however. The QB situation will be one to watch as Tua Tagovailoa looks to come back from a rib injury.

Washington Football Team (-1.5) at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m. ET

It was a wild start for Washington, which lost a game to the Chargers it should have won and beat a Giants team in a game it should have lost. Week 3 didn’t go as well, getting blown out 43-21 by the Bills. Taylor Heinicke proved to be a playmaker in both directions, accounting for three TDs but also two INTs.

It wasn’t pretty, but Atlanta got its first win on Sunday, a last-second, 17-14 victory at the Giants. That followed 26- and 23-point losses to open the season. Matt Ryan passed for 243 yards with two TDs and more important no INTs. Even better, the much-maligned defense kept the Giants at bay despite giving up 346 total yards.

Take a look at Washington vs Falcons odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

New York Giants at New Orleans Saints (-7), 1 p.m. ET

The Giants were in a prime spot to pick up their first win, but dropped a 17-14 home decision to the Falcons. Daniel Jones has only four total TDs through three weeks, but Saquon Barkley has been a non-factor. The Saints rank third in the NFL vs. the run.

The Saints hammered the Packers 35-3 in their opener, followed it up by getting rolled 26-7 by the Panthers, then won 28-13 at New England despite just 252 yards of total offense. No team has produced fewer yards than New Orleans, but New York’s porous defense may fix that.

Take a look at Giants vs Saints odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Tennessee Titans (-6) at New York Jets, 1 p.m. ET

After a disappointing Week 1 offensively, the Titans ran through the Seahawks in Week 2 and one-upped the Colts 25-16 on Sunday. Derrick Henry had 182 yards and three TDs on the ground in Week 2 and another 113 yards in Week 3. That has opened the air for Ryan Tannehill. Can the Jets keep up offensively?

Probably not. The Jets have just 20 points through three weeks and rookie QB Zach Wilson has tossed seven INTs. The defense has kept New York in the games as much as possible. But the offense needs to do more.

Take a look at Titans vs Jets odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Houston Texans at Buffalo Bills (-17), 1 p.m. ET

The Texans missed QB Tyrod Taylor last Thursday. Rookie Davis Mills got his first career start and Houston amassed 169 yards of offense in a 24-9 home loss to the Panthers. Mills is expected to be under center for Week 4 as well. Perhaps this week the Texans won’t abandon a run game that was more effective than the pass vs. Carolina.

The Bills are 2-1, but expectations are high and Josh Allen is heating up. He devoured a regarded Washington defense for 358 pass yards and five total TDs in a 43-21 rout on Sunday. This after routing the Dolphins 35-0. The defense that ranks second in yards allowed will attack the inconsistent Houston O-line.

Take a look at Texans vs Bills odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Kansas City Chiefs (-7) at Philadelphia Eagles, 1 p.m. ET

The Chiefs have a bottom-five defense so far, and it struck again in a 30-24 loss to the Chargers. Usually the offense can make up for issues, and Patrick Mahomes did toss three TDs. But he also had two INTs and nearly 80 yards below his season average. This shapes up to be a huge and unexpected test in Week 4 at Philly.

The Eagles offense scored 32 points in an impressive road win over the Falcons in Week 1, but managed only 11 in a home loss the next week to the 49ers. Dual-threat QB Jalen Hurts should be optimistic facing a KC defense that had no answer for Lamar Jackson in Week 2 or the Chargers in Week 3.

Take a look at Chiefs vs Eagles odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears (-3), 1 p.m. ET

Jared Goff’s turnovers were a key part of the Lions getting blanked in the second half of a 35-17 loss to the Packers in Week 2, one in which they led at halftime. Detroit’s defense stepped it up big in Week 3, but the Lions still lost - 19-17 to the Ravens. The D had allowed 38 ppg through two weeks.

The Justin Fields era in Chicago got off to a comedically poor start. The first-round pick went 6-of-20 passing for 68 yards. Yet again, Chicago’s defense has been solid but the offense hasn’t held up its end of the bargain, averaging 11 ppg. Bears coach Matt Nagy said all three QBs – Fields, Andy Dalton and Nick Foles – will be in consideration for Week 4 action. Not sure any one of them will move the needle on these NFL Week 4 odds.

Take a look at Lions vs Bears odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Cleveland Browns (-2) at Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m. ET

The Browns may have lost their chance to beat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Week 1, but they have shaken it off for a 10-point win over the Texans in Week 2 and a 20-point humbling of the Bears. How Cleveland handles Minnesota’s strong pass attack will be the key here – it held Chicago to a scant 68 pass yards on Sunday.

The Vikings were hard-luck losers through two weeks, 0-2 while being outscored by a combined four points. Not in Week 3, however, cruising past the unbeaten Seahawks 30-17. An offense scoring 29 ppg hasn’t been the issue, but the defense held the red-hot Russell Wilson in check on Sunday.

Take a look at Browns vs Vikings odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams (-4.5), 4:05 p.m. ET

Kyle Murray had vaulted into the top three in NFL MVP futures following two weeks of brilliance and two Cardinals wins. He then went off for 316 yards as the Cardinals rebounded from a first-half deficit to outscore the Jaguars 24-6 on the road after the break. James Conner scored two TDs, proving defenses can’t focus on Kyler alone. Arizona is rolling into this huge NFC West showdown.

Meanwhile in L.A., the Matthew Stafford honeymoon remains going strong, as he’s averaging well over 300 ypg through the air and the Rams are 3-0. Stafford passed for 343 yards and four TDs in a 34-24 win over Brady and the Buccaneers, serving notice that the Rams are legit title contenders. L.A. has beaten Arizona eight straight times, six of which have been by double figures.

Take a look at Cardinals vs Rams odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers (-3), 4:05 p.m. ET

Russell Wilson has resumed his role as one of the NFL’s top playmakers, but he can’t play defense. Seattle has allowed more yards than any team and 30-plus points each of the last two weeks, both losses. This is a huge game in the NFC West.

The 49ers run game is in shambles following injuries to most of the depth chart. Rookie Trey Sermon got the call in Week 3 vs. the Packers and gained 31 yards on 10 carries. The steady play of QB Jimmy Garoppolo, including a masterful drive in the closing minutes Sunday night, put the 49ers on the cusp of 3-0, but Aaron Rodgers had the last laugh in Sunday night’s 30-28 GB win.

Take a look at 49ers vs Seahawks odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Baltimore Ravens (-1) at Denver Broncos, 4:25 p.m. ET

Justin Tucker bailed out the Ravens at Detroit in Week 3, nailing an astonishing 66-yard FG as time expired. Lamar Jackson was still great (287 pass yards, 58 rush yards) and made a big throw on the final drive. The Ravens avoided the big letdown after beating Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Week 2. This would be another big win in the Rockies.

But it will be challenge. The Broncos are 3-0 thanks to a defense that ranks top five vs. the run and the pass, and Teddy Bridgewater, who hasn’t thrown an INT yet in a Broncos uniform. This will be the first real test for a Broncos team with risen expectations. They’ll be without WRs Jerry Jeudy (ankle) and now KJ Hamler, who tore his ACL on Sunday and is out for the season.

Take a look at Ravens vs Broncos odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Green Bay Packers (-6.5), 4:25 p.m. ET

Ben Roethlisberger tossed 58 passes, but it didn’t amount to much scoring in a disappointing 24-10 loss to the Bengals at home. Big Ben has been harassed and beaten up, but the Packers have struggled to get to the QB so far. If Big Ben can sling it as he does, that could open up for rookie RB Najee Harris, who has been bottled up thus far.

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers did it again on Sunday night, leading the team downfield in just 37 seconds so Mason Crosby could kick a game-winning FG in a 30-28 Packers win at San Francisco. Two weeks ago Aaron Jones had four TDs; this week Davante Adams had 12 catches for 132 yards and a score. Meanwhile, the defense quietly ranks in the top 10 in yards allowed.

Take a look at Packers vs Steelers odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-7) at New England Patriots, 8:20 p.m. ET

The long-awaited Tom Brady vs. Bill Belichick rematch. Brady got the first laugh, to be sure, when he led the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl championship last season while Belichick’s Patriots missed the playoffs. Tampa is loaded with all returning starters and a defense that but is coming off a 34-24 loss to the Rams, perhaps giving Belichick a blueprint to success. Brady and the Bucs are strong favorites on betting apps.

This is not how the Patriots envisioned greeting Brady for his homecoming, sporting a 1-2 record after a disappointing Week 3 showing at home against the Saints. The Patriots should have beaten Miami in Week 1 but a fumble inside the 10 on their final drive killed that. They rebounded quickly by rolling the Jets, but the offense was once again tough to find in a 28-13 loss to New Orleans. New England still has a top-five defense, but this could get ugly with Brady undoubtedly looking to make a point..

Take a look at Buccaneers vs Patriots odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Monday, Oct. 4

Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders (-3.5), 8:15 p.m. ET

The Raiders’ pass offense has the NFL talking. Derek Carr leads the league in pass yards through three weeks and Las Vegas has a 3-0 record, including wins over fellow AFC playoff contenders Ravens and Steelers. It doesn’t get much easier here, though Vegas has beaten L.A. in three of the last four meetings.

All three Chargers games have been decided by six points or less, but they’ve won two of them, including a huge victory in Week 3 at Kansas City. Their offense ranked fifth in total yards but 27th in points before to the win over KC. They were still outgained by nearly 100 yards but had the bigger number where it counts most.

Take a look at Chargers vs Raiders odds, injury report, betting lines and more.
