According to Thompson, former NY Jets HC Robert Saleh at +350 has the best odds of becoming the next Jaguars HC. Buccaneers OC Liam Coen was previously the favorite, but pulled out of the HC sweepstakes after signing a long-term deal to remain in Tampa Bay as the team's OC. In addition to those two, several other big names could become the next Jaguars leader, including the likes of Bills OC Joe Brady, Eagles OC Kellen Moore, and Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury.
Although the Jaguars had a difficult season, the team still has very talented young QB Trevor Lawrence under a long-term contract, plus several other quality young players on both sides of the ball. With only so many head coaching positions in the NFL available, the Jags will surely find a quality candidate as their next HC.
With numerous NFL teams looking to hire new coaches after several were fired on Black Monday, look for the Jaguars to commence the search for a new sideline leader immediately.
