AFC North rivals face off on Thursday Night Football when Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns play host to Mason Rudolph and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers (5-4) have won four in a row and are on a 4-0-1 streak against the spread on Thursday nights. The Browns (3-6) edged the Bills on Sunday and have covered in six of their last eight on Thursday.

Let’s take a look at some of the best bets fans of NFL betting (https://bookies.com/nfl) should consider:

PICK 1: Browns -2.5

The Steelers have historically had the Browns’ number, including covering in seven of the last eight meetings. But the young Browns have confidence after edging the Bills and are on a 6-2 ATS streak against AFC North competition.

This is the first road game for Pittsburgh in five weeks and just the second since Week 3. Look for Kareem Hunt to add a new dimension to a weapon-filled Browns offense. The Browns have the edge as long as Mayfield doesn’t hand the Steelers the game.

PICK 2: Over 40.5 Points

Expect the Browns to use running back Kareem Hunt more in his second game back from suspension.

The Steelers won a 29-point slugfest with the Rams last week, but their previous four games all totaled between 41 and 50 points. The Browns have the tools to score more than they do. Again, we need Cleveland coach Freddie Kitchens to use Hunt more, alongside Nick Chubb.

PICK 3: Highest-Scoring Half – First

Both teams have defenses that have hunkered down in the second halves of games. The last three weeks, the Steelers have allowed a scant 4.4 ppg after the break (compared to 12.3 in the first half), the Browns a respectable 8.6. Both offenses have broken out in the second quarter, the highest-scoring frame for each side.

PICK 4: Both Teams Score in 2nd Quarter - Yes

The second quarter has been the top-scoring quarter for the Steelers and Browns all season, and it’s been especially true lately. The last three weeks, Pittsburgh has averaged 9.0 ppg, Cleveland 7.3.

Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster could have a breakout game after just three catches for 44 yard against the Rams on Sunday .

PICK 5: First TD – Browns

The Browns have scored the first TD in five of their nine games, a good-not-great number. But they’ve done so in three of their four home games. The Steelers have reached the end zone first only three times in nine games, and just once on the road.
