Mike Vrabel and Bill Belichick have spent this NFL season on the sidelines - but not as coaches. Belichick can be found just about everywhere - just log into your favorite online device - or tune into the ManningCast.

Vrabel has kept a much lower profile this season. After a pair of sub-.500 seasons, the Tennessee Titans parted ways with after last season. He's working as a consultant with the Cleveland Browns.

Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has nfl odds as to where Vrabel will coach in 2025.

Team Odds Implied Probability
Chicago Bears +450 18.2%
Dallas Cowboys +500 16.7%
New York Giants +600 14.3%
Cleveland Browns +650 13.3%
Las Vegas Raiders +700 12.5%
New York Jets +950 8.3%
New Orleans Saints +1200 7.7%
Jacksonville Jaguars +1400 6.7%
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2000 4.0%
No HC Job +550 15.4%

Vrabel, 48, led the Titans to a 54-45 record in six seasons. That included three playoff berths, with the team advancing to the AFC Championship in 2020, and a 12-5 record in 2021. But Tennessee went 7-10 in 2022 and was 6-11 in 2023, taking dead last in a mediocre AFC South.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that if Jim Harbaugh didn’t take the head job with the Chargers, the team had Vrabel as its backup choice. Despite that endorsement, Vrabel didn't land a head gig.

Mike Vrabel 2025 NFL Teams To Watch

Chicago Bears +450

Buzz: The Bears have stumbled this season after hopes soared after a strong start. Matt Eberflus fired his offensive coordinator Shane Waldron this week. That likely won't save Eberflus' job unless the Bears somehow run the table to end the season and slip into the playoffs. Vrabel would be a hit in Chicago given his Super Bowl pedigree as a linebacker. And he's shore some of the Bears' most glaring weaknesses concerning sloppy play and lack of field discipline. But he's a defensive coach in an offensive league. And he'd need an answer and/or an OC to fix Caleb Williams.

Dallas Cowboys +500

Buzz: The Cowboys are in a free-fall heading into the offseason. Dak Prescott is out for the year after surgery. Jerry Jones said he won't fire Mike McCarthy during the season. But that means nothing after January. Vrabel brings stability and credibility wherever he goes. He will win over hearts and minds. But the same challenge remains in Dallas as it would elsewhere: How can Vrabel fix the Cowboys' offense - with or without Dak?

New York Giants +600

Buzz: Big Blue Nation dreams of Bill Belichick making a triumphant return to East Rutherford. Belichick wants nothing to do with any team that isn't poised for a playoff run. The Giants are as far from the playoffs as one can get. Vrabel might be up for a challenge such as this. And he's about as close to Belichick as one can get when it comes to any potential head coaching candidates available this offseason.

Cleveland Browns +650

Buzz: Perhaps Vrabel has been auditioning for this gig all season, given his current position as a consultant with the franchise. Kevin Stefanski has been dogged by the poor play and injuries of Deshaun Watson. Jameis Winston is the Browns' QB for the duration. He keeps things interesting, But it will be nearly impossible to move Watson off the books even after this season due to his salary cap hit. Vrabel could sell himself as just the perfect defense-first head coach who can win with the limitations of the Browns' offense. Cleveland Browns +650

Las Vegas Raiders +700

Buzz: Another team with a train wreck of an offense. Current Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce shares many of the same characteristics as Vrabel. Both are former NFL linebackers who would command the respect of any locker room in the NFL. But the Raiders' offense is nearly non-existent. The rub here is that 2 of Vrabel's former Patriots teammates - Tom Brady and Richard Seymour - own a piece of the Raiders' franchise. This one to watch. And a great value at this price.

New York Jets +950

Buzz: NFL Betting Law requires the Jets to be part of any potential head coach's "Next Team" list. The mix of Vrabel running everything but Aaron Rodgers and the offense offers a potentially explosive mix - both on the upside and the downside. Snagging a former player who won multiple Super Bowls with New England helps with the bragging rights.

New Orleans Saints +1200

Buzz: The Saints fired head coach Dennis Allen 2 weeks ago. The Saints have potential with a healthy Derek Carr at QB. They took could use an injection of Vrabel's best characteristics. It's hard to envision all of the teams on this list having openings this offseason and Vrabel making it this far - or getting past the Saints.

Jacksonville Jaguars +1400

Buzz: Doug Pederson is gone after this season. The Jaguars took a major step back this season. There's much work to be done here. Vrabel might not want to get involved with this team - unless ownership was willing to give him a quasi-coach/GM post similar to the one Bill Belichick held in New England. Complete control of the roster could be the hidden draw here.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2000

Buzz: The Bucs went in-house and promoted defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to the head coaching gig 2 years ago after Bruce Arians retired. Tampa Bay has a strong office. This would be a coach-only gig. Tampa Bay has gone to the playoffs 4 straight seasons since getting Tom Brady in 2020. A playoff miss could doom Bowles. But that's still unlikely. Hence the price here.
