The New Orleans Saints ended Dennis Allen's failed head coaching reign, firing their embattled head coach after a 2-7 record this season and an 18-25 record overall across three seasons. The Saints named Darren Rizzi their interim head coach for the rest of the season, but the team finished 3-5 under Rizzi and is in the midst of finding a new leader for 2025 and beyond.

The Saints are the last remaining NFL team to hire a coach, so they can take their time among everyone left and pick their favorite.

Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has updated hypothetical NFL odds for who will be the next head coach of the New Orleans Saints for the 2025 season.

New Orleans Saints Head Coaching Prospects

As the New Orleans Saints prepare for a coaching change, several top candidates have emerged.

Kellen Moore, Eagles OC (-200)

Moore had a terrific year as the Eagles OC and the longtime offensive coordinator could get looks as an HC this coaching cycle with teams such as the Saints. Moore is preparing for the Super Bowl as his Eagles take on the Chiefs - ironically, at the Superdome in New Orleans.

Mike Kafka, Giants OC (+450)

A former NFL backup QB, Kafka has been the OC for the Giants for the last few years, and could be ready to make the move to a head coach position, giving the Saints another option as their next HC.

Bobby Slowik, former Texans OC (+650)

Slowik was a hot name in the coaching interview discussions last year but remained with the Texans. This season did not go as well and Slowik was surprisingly let go, making him a free agent.
