Week 16 is here, arguably the best week in the season. There are several meaningful games that could decide playoff seeding, along with a division crown up for grabs in Philadelphia.

It's also the first week of NFL football on Saturday, which will make the Sunday DFS slate more difficult. Without further ado, here are our top DFS picks via DraftKings for Sunday:

Top DFS Team for Week 16

Pos. Player Matchup DraftKings
Price
QB Drew Lock Lions at Broncos $5,600
RB Joe Mixon Bengals at Dolphins $6,600
RB Austin Ekeler Raiders at Chargers $6,100
WR Cortland Sutton Lions at Broncos $6,200
WR Jamison Crowder Steelers at Jets $5,400
WR Michael Gallup Cowboys at Eagles $5,500
TE Zach Ertz Cowboys at Eagles $6,400
FLEX Boston Scott Cowboys at Eagles $4,000
D/ST Pittsburgh Steelers Steelers at Jets $3,900

Note: Prices from DraftKings are based on a $50,000 salary cap for the week

Best Week 16 DFS QB

Broncos QB Drew Lock ($5,600 DraftKings)

Matchup: Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos

After two fantastic starts to open his career, Drew Lock struggled in snowy Kansas City during Week 15. This week, Lock will go back home to Denver and face arguably the league's worst pass defense in the Detroit Lions.

Last week, the Lions gave up over 300 yards passing to Jameis Winston in the first half. While Lock will be hard-pressed to match that performance, don't be surprised if he has the best game of his young career. At just $5,600, Lock is a fantastically cheap quarterback this week for your lineup. Given his upcoming opponent, there is certainly a chance he finishes as one of the highest-scoring quarterbacks.

Best Week 16 DFS RB

Bengals RB Joe Mixon ($6,600 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Cincinnati Bengals at Miami Dolphins

It's easy to forget just how good Joe Mixon is due to the team and players surrounding him. In Week 15 against the Patriots, Mixon carried the ball 25 times for 136 yards while adding another 20 yards through the air. After the game, Bill Belichick called him the best running back in the league, and it's not hard to see why given his talent level.

This week, Mixon will face a much easier opponent as his Bengals travel to Miami. The Dolphins allow the most fantasy points to opposing running backs this year, and that makes Mixon a must-play this week. He will likely be highly-owned in DFS, but given his upside and his price point you should find a way to get him into your lineup.

Best Week 16 DFS WR

Broncos WR Cortland Sutton ($ 6,200 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos

No receiver in the NFL made a bigger leap this season than Courtland Sutton. Despite playing with three different quarterbacks, Sutton finds a way to put up big numbers in his second year. This week, Sutton will get the matchup of a lifetime, facing a Lions' pass defense that allowed first-round bust Breshad Perriman to catch five passes for 113 yards and three touchdowns in Week 15.

Assuming the weather is fine and Drew Lock can continue to be somewhat reliable as a passer, Consider Sutton a lock to exceed 100 yards on Sunday. The former SMU receiver should be in for a career day against a Lions' secondary struggling to stop anybody.

Best Week 16 DFS TE

Eagles TE Zach Ertz ($6,400 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

The most expensive tight end for the Sunday afternoon slate is none other than Zach Ertz of the Philadelphia Eagles. Given his recent history against the Cowboys, and the lack of surrounding weapons in the Eagles' offense, Ertz could be in for another big performance this week.

Over the last two weeks, the Eagles leaned on Ertz to help carry the injury-riddled offense. In those two games, he's received 23 targets and converting them into a total of 47.2 fantasy points. Dallas's defense is struggling to stop tight ends all season, and Week 16 should be no different. Look for Carson Wentz to target his favorite receiver early and often on Sunday afternoon.

Best Week 16 DFS FLEX

Cowboys WR Michael Gallup ($5,500 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

Much like the Lions, the Eagles' defense is struggling in pass coverage this season. In back-to-back weeks, they allowed the likes of Eli Manning and Dwayne Haskins to torch their secondary. Now, they are in a must-win game against the Dallas Cowboys and will need to stop their dynamic wide receiver corps to have a chance to win the division.

Philadelphia will give a ton of attention to Amari Cooper, but Michael Gallup might be in for a big day for Dallas. Gallup is emerging as Dallas' big play threat this season, averaging over 16 yards per reception. With Cooper drawing most of the Eagles' attention in the secondary, look for Dak Prescott to take a few shots down the field to his No. 2 receiver.

He can be a bit of a boom-or-bust player at times, but Gallup's potential this week is through the roof. He is an excellent flex play in Week 16 if you can fit him into your lineup. Check out latest Cowboys vs Eagles betting odds.
