Week 6 saw several blowout contests and much lower DFS scores than we have grown accustomed to this season. But with teams such as the Chiefs and Cowboys back on the Sunday slate of games, that means we could see an uptick of scores with several games with high over/under totals.

To help you find success in DFS in Week 7, here is the team we are fielding on Sunday over at DraftKings.

Top DFS Team for NFL Week 7

Pos. Player Matchup DraftKings
Price
QB Aaron Rodgers Packers at Texans $7,000
RB D’Andre Swift Lions at Falcons $5,400
RB Latavius Murray Saints vs Panthers $4,800
WR Tyreek Hill Chiefs at Broncos $6,400
WR Terry McLaurin Washington vs Cowboys $5,800
WR Deebo Samuel 49ers at Patriots $5,000
TE Travis Kelce Chiefs at Broncos $6,300
FLEX DJ Moore Panthers at Saints $5,600
D/ST Steelers Steelers at Titans $3,500

Note: Prices from DraftKings are based on a $50,000 salary cap for the week

Best Week 7 DFS QB

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers ($7,000 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Packers at Texans

Typically, it isn’t wise to pay up for a quarterback in DFS. They rarely return value and there are always cheaper options who outperform expectations. However, this feels like an Aaron Rodgers revenge game on Sunday after his Packers were blown out by Tampa Bay. In that game, he completed just 16 of 35 passes for 160 yards and no touchdowns. He finished the game with only 5.8 DFS points, and it was one of the worst games of his NFL career.

Rodgers now faces a Texans defense that is reeling in Week 7 and has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. This feels like a get-right game for Rodgers and the Packers. He could easily throw for 300 yards and multiple touchdowns. It's worth noting that before Week 6, Rodgers was averaging over 27.5 fantasy points per game. He was among the best DFS quarterbacks and will likely approach that number again in Week 7.

Make sure you find a way to get Rodgers into your lineup this week as this could be a historical game from the former MVP quarterback.

Best Week 7 DFS RB

Lions RB D'Andre Swift ($5,400 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Lions at Falcons

D'Andre Swift finally had his first breakout game in the NFL, totaling 123 yards and two touchdowns against the Jaguars. He looked like the same player we saw at Georgia and was dynamic in the open field. Swift averaged a whopping 8.3 yards per carry in Week 6, and while that's not sustainable, he's looked like a much quicker and explosive player over the last few weeks.

In Week 7, he draws a Falcons defense that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. While this is still likely to be a split backfield, Swift remains a screaming value at $5,400. Don't be surprised if he totals close to 20 touches and finds the end zone a few times against Atlanta. If the Lions fully lean into Swift as their featured back in this contest, he has top-10 upside given his talent and role in that offense.

Best Week 7 DFS WR

Washington WR Terry McLaurin ($5,800 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Washington vs Cowboys

Every week, the Cowboys find a way to make opposing offenses look like the 2007 New England Patriots. They have now allowed 34 points in five straight games, and the defense doesn't appear to be getting better any time soon. In Week 7, they will face a Washington offense that has struggled this season.

However, the one player that has remained relevant has been wide receiver Terry McLaurin. He's averaging over 80 yards per game but has scored just one touchdown. He should be able to find the end zone at least once at home against a defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing receivers. At just $5,800, McLaurin is a strong WR2 play this week with WR1 upside.

Best Week 7 DFS TE

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce ($6,300 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Chiefs at Broncos

If you didn't have Travis Kelce or George Kittle in your lineup in Week 6, you probably didn't have much success. The tight end position has been a bit of a wasteland this season due to injuries and disappointing play from potential breakout candidates such as Austin Hooper and Hayden Hurst. That is why it's not the worst strategy to pay up for an elite tight end and go cheaper at a different position.

Kelce has scored 22 or more fantasy points three times this season, including back-to-back games. Given his role in the offense, he is a lock to score double-digits every week and his touchdown potential always makes him a strong play. Look for him to have another big performance. Best Week 7 DFS FLEX

Panthers WR D.J. Moore ($5,800 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Panthers at Saints

Through the first six weeks, D.J Moore has not been the Panthers' most productive receiver. That title belongs to free-agent signing Robby Anderson, who is averaging nearly 100 yards per game. However, Moore appears to be finding his role in the offense over the last few weeks and is developing a connection with new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Moore has now totaled 93 receiving yards in each of the previous two games and is becoming more prominent in the passing offense.

There are a lot of mouths to feed in this offense, but Moore is arguably the team's best player with Christian McCaffrey out of the lineup. Look for offensive coordinator Joe Brady and Bridgewater to target Moore early and often in this key NFC South matchup. At just $5,800, Moore is a strong flex play this week with WR2 upside. In fact, we have seen him have massive games before against New Orleans, so don't be surprised if he totals over 100 yards and gets into the end zone a few times on Sunday.
