Week 6 was hit-and-miss for us at Bookies.com for our DFS plays as we correctly picked the top quarterback (Matt Ryan) and tight end (Austin Hooper) but failed to find enough value at running back and wide receiver. How you fared in Week 6 likely was determined by if you had Stefon Diggs in your lineup or not as he scored a whopping 46.5 points, the most of any player last week.

Week 7 looks like it will be another exciting week in DFS as there are multiple games with big point spreads, over/unders, etc. There are also a few critical divisional games that could turn into shootouts reasonably quickly.

Best Week 7 DFS QB

Rams QB Jared Goff ($6,200 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Los Angeles Rams at Atlanta Falcons

It's been a rough year for Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams as they have lost three straight games, two of which came at the hands of the Seahawks and 49ers. Goff has struggled, throwing just seven touchdowns to seven interceptions. In Week 6, he scored a season-low 2.12 fantasy points, the worst outing for him over the last two years.

However, look for the former No. 1 pick to bounce back in a big way as they take on Atlanta's awful pass defense. Last week, Kyler Murray scorched the Falcons, scoring 31.8 fantasy points. The week prior, Atlanta gave allowed 44.74 points to Deshaun Watson. It's an excellent matchup for Goff to get back on track, as this game should turn into a shootout. Look for Goff to exceed 20 points, at the bare minimum, and to be a value at just $6,200.

Best Week 7 DFS RB

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs ($5,000 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Oakland Raiders at Green Bay Packers

NFL Week 7 DFS Picks: Why Jared Goff is Your Best QB Option 1

For whatever reason, DraftKings hasn't changed the price on first-round running back Josh Jacobs much this season. Heading into Week 7, he is still just $5,000, despite a constant workload and fairly reliable production. In his last game (versus Chicago in Week 5), Jacobs touched the ball 29 times and tallied 143 yards and two touchdowns.

This week, he will face the Packers defense in a neutral matchup. While there is the chance that Oakland gets behind in this game and is forced to pass, the Raiders are going to want to establish the run early and get Jacobs involved in the run and passing game. Oakland will also get back starting right guard Gabe Jackson this season, which should prove to be a massive boost to the run game. Given the price tag and guaranteed workload, Jacobs is a must-play RB2 this week in DFS.

Best Week 7 DFS WR

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton ($5,900 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts

After a much-needed bye week, T.Y. Hilton and the Colts will host the Texans in a critical AFC South showdown. While Hilton hasn't been quite as dynamic with Jacoby Brissett under center compared to Andrew Luck, he still has been productive. Hilton has scored four touchdowns in four games, averaging nearly 18 fantasy points per game.

However, Hilton has been banged up in the first month of the season, missing a Week 4 game against the Raiders due to a quad injury. But with the week off, Hilton should be rested and close to 100 percent healthy. Assuming that is the case, he has a juicy matchup in Week 7 as the Texans are struggling to find any healthy cornerbacks.

Given this game is in Indianapolis against one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, Hilton should have a monster game once again in which he sees close to double-digit targets. At the low price of $5,900, Hilton is a must-play this week as a WR2.

Best Week 7 DFS TE

Giants TE Evan Engram ($6,500 on DraftKings)

Matchup: New York Giants vs. Arizona Cardinals

NFL Week 7 DFS Picks: Why Jared Goff is Your Best QB Option 2

Despite being listed as questionable and being the second-most expensive tight end in Week 7, Evan Engram is a must-play this week, assuming he is active. Not only has he performed well when on the field, but he is facing an Arizona team that has proven to be dreadful against opposing tight ends. In Week 6, Arizona allowed Austin Hooper to catch all eight of his targets for 117 yards and a score. No team has allowed more fantasy points to opposing tight ends than the Cardinals.

As long as Engram can go, even in a limited role, he should be in your lineups. This is too good of a matchup for this caliber of player for you to fade Engram in Week 7. Look for him to see double-digit targets with several coming in the red zone and near the end zone.

Best Week 7 DFS Flex

Rams WR Brandin Cooks ($5,400 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Los Angeles Rams at Atlanta Falcons

While Cooper Kupp is the best Rams wide receiver to stack with Jared Goff this week, he is the most expensive of the group at $7,400. He could still prove to be a value, but consider playing Brandin Cooks, who is the cheapest of the top three receivers for Los Angeles.

Cooks has historically performed well indoors and should get several opportunities to make plays down the field against Atlanta. Cooks doesn't need double-digit targets to be a worthwhile play, but look for him to see more than just three or four passes this week.
