NFL Survivor Pools have exploded in popularity, and at levels for all kinds of fans, from family pools to those with thousands of dollars in cash prizes on the line.
The simple nature of it is a major draw for to NFL betting fans: Survivor Pools entail picking one team to win each week, but never picking the same team twice. It's not how much your team wins by in a Survivor Pool. Simply, it's about picking a winner and moving on - and sometimes saving the biggest favorite for a future week.
Here is my most confident pick to get you through Week 8. We’re perfect so far this season (see below).

NFL Week 8 Survivor Pick: Kansas City Chiefs
We’ve made it through seven weeks unscathed. Most people likely can’t say that. I think we’ve earned a bye week, and taking the Chiefs at home against the winless Jets is as close as it comes.
One can argue Patrick Mahomes & Co. are the best team in the NFL. It’s barely an argument that the Jets are the worst in the league. The spread hovered all week around 20 points in favor of KC.
One may look at last week’s 18-10 final score in the Jets’ loss to the Bills as a sign of improvement for the 0-7 New York team. But consider that the Jets took a 10-0 lead and did nothing after that. Also consider the Bills didn’t punt. It was held out of the end zone and settled for six field goals. Do you think the Chiefs will suffer a similar fate? If one trend is to repeat, it’s that Kansas City also might not punt.
Week 8 is the reason we held onto the Chiefs for so long. It’s time to cash the ticket and reduce a little stress for Halloween weekend.
Other NFL Week 8 Contenders
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Buccaneers have looked the part of Super Bowl contender the last two weeks with dominating wins over the Packers and Chiefs. They should manhandle the Giants on Monday night.
Green Bay Packers: The Packers got back on track in Week 7 with a blowout win over the Texans. The Vikings bring a bottom-5 defensive unit into Lambeau – bad news against a red-hot Aaron Rodgers.
