Tennessee Titans NFL Draft Odds: Interior Line Is Focus

Adam Thompson | 3 mins

Despite finishing a middle-of-the-pack 17th in scoring and 12th in points allowed, the Tennessee Titans went 12-5 and repeated as AFC South division champions. A chunk of the season was played without all-everything RB Derrick Henry.
Now Henry is back, Ryan Tannehill is still under center and the Titans would like to take that leap into the same grouping as the Chiefs and Bills as favored AFC contenders. Tennessee is available around +2500 to win Super Bowl 57 on NFL futures markets.

Who Will The Titans Take In The NFL Draft?
The Titans had holes to fill on offense and did that in free agency. They were desperate for a pass-catching tight end before inking the Browns’ Austin Hooper to a deal. A replacement for the oft-injury Julio Jones was found in Robert Woods, who left the Rams for the Music City.
The interior line remains a focus. Tennessee’s two starting guards of 2021 ranked among the very bottom of most NFL analytics. Adding a weapon in the pass game is on the table. On defense, the starting spots are accounted for but depth has been depleted.

Kenyon Green Odds To join The Tennessee Titans
Kenyon Green has fallen down mock draft charts lately. Once projected as a pick that could go in the top 20, the Texas A&M guard has fallen to the bottom half of the first round, or into the second round. That would be just fine with the Titans, which has a bottom-level interior line.Green’s strength is run blocking – Tennessee’s interior line was especially bad at pass blocking. But scouts believe he has the base to be a starter right now with room to improve. The Titans definitely would be filling a need at No. 26 with Green or Zion Johnson. Green is more likely to be available at No. 26.
