Can Kevin Harvick win three in a row at Michigan — two of them coming in as many days?

That’s the question NASCAR betting fans are asking after the odds favorite won Saturday’s opener of a weekend doubleheader at the 2-mile track, following up his victory there from last August. Harvick is the favorite again for Sunday’s Consumers Energy 400, where he’ll bid to become just the fourth driver to win three straight at Michigan, joining Kyle Larson, Bill Elliott and David Pearson.

We eschewed taking Harvick to win Saturday’s Firekeepers Casino 400 in search of more value, we still won Harvick top-3 (+115), Brad Keselowski top-3 (+200), Ford winning manufacturer (-106), Martin Truex Jr. top Toyota (+215) and Chase Elliott top Chevrolet (+140). That’s a good betting day by any measure. Let’s try to keep the roll going with these three choices to win Sunday’s Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan.

Kevin Harvick

Yeah, he’s the favorite. But he is a no-brainer given his success both this season and lately at Michigan. Saturday’s triumph marked Harvick’s third in his past four starts in Brooklyn, where he now has more victories than any other active driver. In his past eight races of this season, he has three wins and no finishes worse than sixth. Nobody in NASCAR is better at being fast off the truck and Harvick’s team will almost certainly employ the same setup strategy on Sunday that they used to lead 92 of 161 laps one day earlier. Bet on Harvick at FOX Bet.

Ryan Blaney

Ford has now won five straight Cup Series races at Michigan, so any value selection probably should come from the blue oval bunch. Penske Racing driver Ryan Blaney certainly showed speed Saturday by leading 27 laps and finishing fourth. In five Michigan starts in Penske equipment, Blaney has only once finished worse than ninth. While he’s not quite on the roll that saw him notch four straight top-4 finishes earlier this season, Blaney is fast and more than capable of winning, particularly on a 2-mile layout where his horsepower gives him an edge. Give Blaney a go at Unibet.

Martin Truex Jr.

If you’re venturing outside of the Ford fold, take a hard look at Truex, whose third-place result Saturday marked his fourth top-four finish in his past six Michigan starts. The rub is that the Joe Gibbs Racing driver hasn’t led many laps in all those races and Saturday he led exactly zero. But showing the speed to run up front is half the battle, and Truex clearly has it — his Toyota has finished third now in three straight races — so expect the No. 19 team to squeeze out a little more on Sunday.
