Daniel Sturridge is a free agent after leaving Liverpool this summer and has a host of clubs chasing his signature with bookmakers scrambling to work out just where he might end up.
Sturridge, 29, scored just four goals for Liverpool last season — with all his strikes coming in the first six weeks of the campaign.
Injuries and poor form blighted the latter seasons of his six-year Liverpool career, yet there are plenty of sides interested in the England international, who heads into the summer with a Champions League winners’ medal around his neck.
Daniel Sturridge’s Next Club?
Following reports that he is ‘ready’ to consider a move to the US, the MLS is currently the most likely destination for Sturridge – according to several sportsbooks – with Betway having the striker down at 2/1 (+200) to move to the United States.
Yet Sturridge may not go for the option. After all, a move to the MLS is still seen as a step towards retirement — a place European footballers can live out the final days of their career in relative comfort.
But Sturridge is only 29 years old and has big British clubs tracking his situation.
Both Celtic and Rangers are said to be interested, with the Ibrox club – managed by Sturridge’s former team-mate Steven Gerrard – currently 11/2 (+550) with SportNation ahead of their rivals (6/1) to snap up the ex-Manchester City star.

Moving to Scotland could certainly rejuvenate Sturridge’s career, but the issue for both Glasgow sides would be his wage demands.
Sturridge was earning an estimated £120,000 a week at Anfield. He is a free agent now, so could demand high wages as he knows his next club won’t have to pay a penny in transfer fees.
Can Celtic or Rangers afford him? Considering the Hoops’ average player contract is a reported £16,000 a week, and Rangers’ is half that, it seems unlikely Sturridge is heading to Scotland.

Aston Villa are also 11/2 with to snap up Sturridge and those odds could well tumble in the coming weeks.
The newly-promoted side are back in the Premier League, so likely have the resources to match Sturridge’s contract demands.
They are also chasing a seasoned top-flight striker to help keep them up next term, which Sturridge certainly is if he can keep fit.
Leicester — managed by his ex-manager Brendan Rodgers — are also said to be interested in Sturridge but their price has drifted to 6/1 from 2/1 in recent days.
