Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 Odds, Betting Tips & Predictions

After two straight weekends of long-odds winners, NASCAR returned to form last Thursday night when Denny Hamlin won at Kansas. Hamlin and Kevin Harvick have combined to win eight times since the sport emerged from its coronavirus hiatus and are showing every sign of going head-to-head until the end.

Need further evidence? Harvick and Hamlin are the top two active drivers at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where the circuit competes Sunday in the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301. Harvick has won there a series-best four times, with Hamlin in a group right behind with three. Hamlin’s average finish of 9.9 is tops in New Hampshire, while Harvick stands second in both career top-fives and laps led.

What’s that mean when it comes to NASCAR betting? Predictably, Harvick is the odds favorite at +400 and Hamlin is No. 2 choice at +450 on a very challenging flat 1-mile track. With that in mind, here are seven bets to make when NASCAR visits the Granite State.

Kevin Harvick to Win (+400, DraftKings)

Nobody’s better at New Hampshire than Harvick, whose four wins include victories in each of the past two seasons. Seven of his last nine finishes at Loudon have been fifth or better. Combine that sterling track record with the No. 4 team’s best-in-the-sport ability to be fast off the truck, and Harvick walks in the gate with an advantage no other driver can match.

Others might offer better value, but Harvick offers your best chance to win. Bet on Harvick to win with DraftKings .

Denny Hamlin Top 3 (+130, Unibet)

Given that Harvick and Hamlin are the two best drivers at New Hampshire, it makes sense for bettors to hedge. Whomever you’re taking to win, take the other to finish in the top three. While Hamlin doesn’t boast the race-to-race consistency of Harvick, the Gibbs driver still has two runner-ups and a victory in his last seven starts in Loudon.

Again, the value isn’t exceptional, but Hamlin still deserves some place in betting plans for this weekend. Bet on Hamlin for a top-3 finish with Unibet.

Ford Winning Manufacturer (+115, 888Sport)

It’s the longest winless skid of the season for Ford, which has gone two straight races without a victory. Hard to imagine that will last much longer, given that Ford had won four of the previous five, and remains the dominant manufacturer in NASCAR.

A bet on the blue oval also allows bettors to try and squeeze a little more value out of Harvick — and if you’re really confident, take Stewart-Haas as the winning team for +300 as well. Bet on Ford to win with 888Sport.

Ryan Blaney Top 3 (+250, Unibet)

Although Blaney has cooled after a torrid seven-week stretch, he’s notched top-10s in two of his last three starts and is competitive almost every week. And of late, the Penske driver has been exceptional at New Hampshire, where he’s finished fourth, seventh and ninth his last three times out.

Loudon is a technical layout with sharp corners, and drivers either get it or they don’t, so strong track records like Blaney’s are often a barometer of success. Bet on Blaney for a top-3 with Unibet.

Aric Almirola Top 10 (-125, DraftKings)

Almirola continues to enjoy the best run of his career, with eight straight finishes in the top 10 following his sixth-place finish at Kansas. His New Hampshire stats are good but not great — he has been third and 11th there in his last two starts — but it’s hard to argue with recent success. Almirola is in the best equipment of his career, and he’s taking advantage of it, so ride his hot streak as long as it lasts. Bet on him with DraftKings .

Kurt Busch Top Chevrolet (+550, FOXBet)

After a three-race bobble at Pocono and Indianapolis, Busch has rolled off three consecutive finishes in the top nine. In 36 starts at New Hampshire, he has done everything from win three times to go seven straight races without a top 10.

But he’s a savvy driver on a tough track that promises to be even tougher with no practice, which Chase Elliott hasn’t quite figured out, and where Tyler Reddick has never made a Cup Series start. Bet on Kurt Busch with FOXBet.

Matt Kenseth Top 10 (+180, BetMGM)

Since being lured out of retirement by Chip Ganassi, Kenseth has been up and down — a runner-up at Indianapolis, followed by three straight finishes of 17th or worse. But if there’s a time to take a chance on Kenseth, it’s at New Hampshire, which ranks among his best tracks. He has won there three times, as recently as 2016. No active driver has more top-5s. And of his last 11 starts, just two have been worse than ninth. Bet on Kenseth with BetMGM .
