LIV Golf Bangkok Odds, Best Bets, Picks & Predictions

The LIV golf series is back at it this week in Thailand, where the would-be disruptors will tee it up at Stonehill Golf Course outside Bangkok in one of the final events of the league’s debut offering in 2022.
Public reception has been chilly and these events haven’t gained any traction from an actual competition standpoint, but LIV has managed to pull top talent away from the PGA Tour with massive payouts for Cam Smith, Joaquin Niemann, Dustin Johnson and others.
Johnson is the golf betting favorite this week, which is becoming the norm on betting sites and betting apps for LIV competitions. Part of the first wave of players to join, Johnson is a +450 favorite in Bangkok after winning his first LIV event this summer in Boston.
British Open champ Cameron Smith is next on the board with golf odds of +500, while Niemann is next at +700. Talor Gooch (+1400) and Louis Oosthuizen (+1600) round out the top five.

Joaquin Niemann to Win
Odds: +700 at DraftKings ➜
This is Niemann’s third LIV event and could be the most low-key from a distractions standpoint. Niemann has mostly stayed out of the public fray and has quietly gone about his business in the new series.
Niemann finished third overall in Boston and fifth overall in Chicago, shooting a combined 23-under-par for the six rounds overall. Now he gets a brand new course that should suit his game, and he’s one of the most talented players in the small field. We wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him get the job done.
We’re on Niemann to win this week with +700 odds at DraftKings.
LIV Golf Bangkok Betting Tips
This is a difficult one because we know so little about the golf course. Stonehill is a brand new, ultra-exclusive club that just opened this summer. Founded by billionaire Sarath Ratanavadi, one of the wealthiest people in Thailand, this place was designed as a prestigious getaway for the ultra-rich and serves as a fitting venue for the upstart league with deep pockets.
From what little information is available on the course, it looks like a stern modern test. This track reportedly tips out at over 7,800 yards and we’ll be targeting big hitters only for that reason. Johnson is never a bad bet on a course like this, but Niemann and others further down the board have just as much distance and could be in better form. We’d look at driving distance above all else this week as there’s still not much to go on in terms of LIV stats or course data.
