SportsBetting.com Sportsbook Review
After PASPA was overturned back in early 2018, a lot of the usual suspects rushed to become part of the legalized sports betting fray as states opened for legal sports betting.
Companies such as DraftKings, FanDuel, William Hill, Hard Rock and more were some brands we expected, but this also allowed for new brands to get in on the action.
One of them is SportsBetting.com.
Owned by The Carousel Group, SportsBetting.com hopes to bring a breath of fresh air to the sports betting ecosystem. Let’s see what users can expect with SportsBetting.com
SportsBetting.com Sportsbook Bonus Codes & Promotions
SportsBetting.com does an excellent job of adding timely promotional offerings based on games happening in its respective time period, but outside of that, the only static promo offer is the welcome offer.
To be fair, this is an excellent welcome offer—one we have not really seen around the industry.
For new players (and with a minimum deposit of $10), you will be able to get a weeks worth of losses back.
How does this work? Well, after the first week of your account and playing are over, if you had more losses than winnings, you will get the difference back in free credits, up to $500.
So, if after the week is over you won $100 but lost $200, SportsBetting.com will give you the $100 difference in free credits within 72 hours of the week ending.
SportsBetting's Transition to MaximBet Sportsbook
SportsBetting.com has transitioned to MaximBet, a brand new sportsbook in the US created by Maxim and the Carousel Group. The Maxim media group is one of the more exciting and boundary-pushing brands in the US, and it'll be exciting to see what they do in the legal sports betting industry. You can currently play on MaximBet in Colorado, though other states are set to open soon.
Registration at SportsBetting.com
Nothing is better at an online sportsbook than an easy registration process, and SportsBetting.com is the epitome of this.
After clicking the registration button, the process is just one page and asks a few questions for personal information:
- Phone number
- Last four digits of your social security number
Don’t worry—this is totally normal for an accredited online sportsbook to ask these types of questions.
When we went to register for an account, it was encouraging to see a registration page that said it took less than two minutes and that was beyond accurate.>

SportsBetting.com Sportsbook Mobile App Experience
SportsBetting.com is a brand new online sportsbook. As a result, there is currently no mobile app offered, but it is in the works.
For now, though, players will get to experience a desktop platform that is sleek and clean with the promotions at the top, sports offered on a menu along the top/middle of the page and the live/upcoming wagers below that.
If the mobile app ends up like the desktop platform, in our experience, you will enjoy what SportsBetting.com produces.
SportsBetting.com does not have its software outsourced. In fact, SportsBetting.com’s software is all proprietary and it owns all of it. Also, SportsBetting.com has stated how safe and secure its software is.
Deposit and Withdrawal Methods at Sports Betting.comDeposit Options
As you can see, the payment options are extremely limited. This is definitely something SportsBetting.com needs to address as this could severely limit the amount of potential users on its platform and thankfully, we have heard that they will be adding to this selection in the near future.
SportsBetting.com VIP and Rewards Programs
SportsBetting.com does not have a VIP or Rewards program offered at this time. This is a new operation, so it could be some time before a VIP program is established.
SportsBetting.com Customer Support
SportsBetting.com has three avenues of customer support:
- FAQ Section: This FAQ section is chock full of information that will answer myriad questions in reference to almost anything you can think of.
- 24/7 Live Chat: This live chat is responsive and the staff is knowledgeable about the product and will have the answer to any issues you may have.
- Social Media: SportsBetting.com encourages users to contact them on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for customer assistance as well.
We strongly encourage using the live chat. We were able to reach a representative within moments to help us answer some questions we had about the site.
SportsBetting.com State Restrictions
SportsBetting.com initially launched in Colorado but then rebranded to MaximBet Sportsbook after Carousel tied up a deal with the popular men’s magazine. It is expected that the brand goes live in New Jersey, Arizona, and other states in near future as MaximBet Sportsbook.
Our Verdict of SportsBetting.com
SportsBetting.com is new and small in comparison to other juggernauts in the industry, but the foundation is there to be successful. Numerous things need to be addressed and SportsBetting.com more than likely knows that. With that said, the interface, options and welcome offer are excellent. Once it adds the “normal” assets a sportsbook has (mobile app, more payment options, promotions), this has the opportunity to be the place to play in 2020 and beyond.
