We are back this Saturday with another UFC card, and fans will be in the building! For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the Octagon heads back to Europe, this time to the O2 Arena in London, England.

The UFC betting card is stacked with many of Europe’s top fighters, with the main event featuring top-15 ranked heavyweights Tom Aspinall and Alexander Volkov. Coming off another profitable week of sports betting, here are my three UFC best bets for UFC London:

Tom Aspinall vs. Alexander Volkov Odds

Favorite Underdog
Tom Aspinall | -120 Alexander Volkov | +105

UFC London Predictions: Aspinall (-125) vs. Volkov (+105)

The main event of UFC London features England’s own Tom Aspinall against Russia’s Alexander Volkov. The odds are close, with Aspinall only a small -125 favorite and Volkov a +105 underdog. It’s a tricky fight to call, but ultimately I have to go with Aspinall to win.

Ever since joining the UFC in 2020, Aspinall has looked incredible inside the Octagon. He’s won all four of his UFC fights since then with all four of his wins coming by stoppage. Not only can he knock his opponents out, but he can also submit them, which makes Aspinall unique among heavyweights since he has multiple ways to win a fight. He truly is a special talent.

As for Volkov, he’s actually ranked higher than Aspinall, but he is the underdog in this fight, which is interesting. He has proven to be one of the best heavyweights in the UFC for the past six years, but he just hasn’t been able to get that big win to be a legitimate title contender. Volkov is basically the gatekeeper to the top-five right now at this point of his UFC career.

Volkov is a solid fighter, and the fact this fight is set for five rounds gives him an edge if it goes late. But I think Aspinall can finish him early on if he lives up to his potential. Give me Aspinall to win at -125 and give me Aspinall to win inside the distance at +140 odds.

The Pick: Tom Aspinall at -125 at DraftKings

Alternative Pick: Tom Aspinall wins inside the distance +140 at DraftKings

Other UFC London Best Bets

Arnold Allen (-125) vs. Dan Hooker (+105)

The featherweights meet in the co-main event when Arnold Allen takes on Dan Hooker. It’s a close fight, with Allen as a slight -125 favorite on top online sportsbooks and Hooker as a short +105 underdog.

This should be a competitive fight, but I can’t help but think there is value on Allen here as a small favorite. Here’s the thing about Allen: He’s been in the UFC since 2015 and he hasn’t lost yet, going 8-0 during that time.

He’s also beaten some really good fighters during that stretch including Sodiq Yusuff. Allen is a dark horse title contender at 145lbs and hasn’t really been given the due he’s earned by UFC fans, as he seems to always be a forgotten man at 145.

UFC London Tom Aspinall vs Alexander Volkov Odds, Picks & Predictions 1

As for Hooker, he is a very popular fighter and for good reason considering how many epic wars he’s been in over the years. But Hooker now appears to be in a decline after losing three of his last four fights. He is moving back down to 145lbs and in the past, he did not perform well at this weight class. He will have the height and reach on Allen, but it might not matter.

Allen is a very smart fighter who knows how to win fights. Give me Allen to win as a -125 favorite and for more value, you can take him to win a decision at +180 odds.

The Pick: Arnold Allen at -125 at DraftKings

Alternative Pick: Arnold Allen wins by decision +180 at DraftKings

Cory McKenna (-250) vs. Elise Reed (+210)

One of the early preliminary card fights is a women’s strawweight bout between Cory McKenna and Elise Reed. McKenna is a -250 favorite on betting apps, with Reed as a +210 underdog, and I really like McKenna to improve to pick up her second UFC victory as the betting favorite.

Just 22 years old, McKenna is one of the youngest fighters on the UFC roster, but also a very high-level prospect who has plenty of potential in the sport. We actually haven’t seen her fight since November 2020 when she beat Kay Hansen in the UFC. Since she is such a young fighter, I’m not worried about the layoff at all. In fact, there is a good chance that she has improved in her time away from the Octagon. We already knew she was a good grappler, but if she has shored up her striking during her time away, then she could be a dangerous fighter.

As for Reed, she got destroyed by Sijara Eubanks in her UFC debut. To be fair to her, she fought a bigger opponent up a weight class, but still, it showed she has a hole on the ground. It’s a hole that was exploited by other fighters on the regional scene, although she technically was unbeaten heading into the UFC. Still, I think her defensive wrestling is a big weakness.

I think McKenna just takes down Reed and controls her on the ground for an easy win. Take McKenna as a -250 favorite, and alternatively, you can take her to win a decision at -120.

The Pick: Cory McKenna at -250 at DraftKings

Alternative Pick: Cory McKenna wins by decision -120 at DraftKings
