As has become tradition, Scotland make the World Cup and find themselves in a group with Brazil. This will be the third straight time it’s happened at World Cups Scotland have qualified for, and four of the last five. The Scots have managed just one win in their last 11 World Cup games but will be hoping to add to that when they take on the likely Group C bottom-feeders.
The fact that Haiti have qualified for the World Cup is a victory in itself. Ranked 83rd in the world, and with just three wins from their last 12 games coming into the tournament, they appear to face an uphill struggle. Picking up a point would be a surprise.
