Next Aberdeen Manager Betting Odds

Aberdeen have relieved manager Jimmy Thelin of his duties after a poor run has seen the club languishing closer to the bottom than the top of the table. They currently sit in eighth place in the Scottish Premiership, having collected just 25 points from 20 games this season, following a dismal run of three wins from 11 games.

The Dons made the worst start to a league campaign in 26 years, losing their first seven matches. Aberdeen currently find themselves sitting in the relegation group and could be playing in the Scottish Championship next season should fortunes not improve. Would Askou Consider Jumping Ship?

Prior to June, only the most ardent fans of Scandinavian football - and maybe those based in Norwich - would have heard of Jens Berthel Askou. Stephen Robinson Among Favourites

Stephen Robinson is a name familiar with most Scottish football fans. He's the current St Mirren manager and previously had a successful spell in charge of Motherwell. Indeed, during his time at The Well, he led them to the final of both domestic trophies in the same season for the first time since 1951.

Scott Brown is more than familiar with the Sottish Premiership having captained Celtic and won a total of 22 trophies with the club. Since quitting playing, he has been working his way up the managerial ranks. He started with a spell in charge of Fleetwood Town before moving to his current role at Ayr United.

Steven Naismith Available Right Away

The three names at the top of the betting all have jobs that Aberdeen would have to negotiate to release him from. However, for Scotland international Steven Naismith is available, in theory, as he is the current assistant coach for the Scottish national team.
