The Premier League season is starting to hot up and the fixtures are coming thick and fast. There have been plenty of surprise packages so far this campaign, and there are sure to be many twists and turns in the remaining months of the season.  We will be bringing you a brand-new weekly show previewing all the upcoming Premier League action and discussing all the major talking points. The panel will dissect the fixtures on the horizon and give you their valued insights that will assist you when making your picks on soccer betting sites.

The Premier League Preview Show is hosted by Gav from the LFC Daytrippers podcast. Gav has hosted the LFC Daytrippers podcast for several years, building up a large audience of dedicated Kop fans. Gav is joined on the show each week by Liam Canning and Jamie Brown. Liam is a well-known Manchester United fan and commentator with forthright views on the once-juggernaut club, who are slowly clawing their way back to the top under Erik ten Hag. Jamie is a well-established Tottenham Hotspur expert and has appeared in several publications and media outlets to discuss the club, with few people better placed to offer an opinion on the North Londoners.

Of course, the panel will provide unique insights and expert knowledge on their own affiliated clubs, however, the show will not just be focusing on their favored teams. Equal attention will also be paid to those who find themselves in the fight for survival at the bottom of the table, so be sure to tune in for your weekly in-depth Premier League discussion.

Premier League Preview Show – 21st April 2023

Gav is joined on this week's Premier League Preview by regular guest Jamie as they review recent goings on in the Premier League as well as previewing what's coming up in the league and FA Cup.

The FA Cup semi-finals are the place to start, with Manchester City taking on Sheffield United and Manchester United against Brighton. With City reeling in Arsenal in the Premier League, destroying Bayern Munich to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League and taking on a Championship team in the FA Cup, the treble is looking on.

In the other semi-final, can Brighton take advantage of a late-season stutter from United? Gav and Jamie think they could go into the game as favourites. With United having been knocked out of the Europa League against Sevilla, will they focus more on winning a trophy or chasing the top four. The top four odds suggest they still have a huge chance of bagging Champions League football next season, which would be cause for celebration.

On to the Premier League. After Tottenham lost to Bournemouth last weekend, they find themselves three points behind Newcastle having played a game more. This looks like a must-win game for Spurs against the Magpies if they are to make the top four. With the next Tottenham manager still undecided, an adverse result could lead to a quicker resolution on that front.

After Liverpool produced a comeback to draw with Arsenal and then destroyed Leeds Monday night, are they still in the top-four battle? Liverpool are only nine points behind Newcastle, who are starting to shake after a 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa last weekend.

Elsewhere on the fixture list, there are relegation six-pointers everywhere you look. Bournemouth host West Ham, Leicester host Wolves and Crystal Palace are at home to Everton. There are big games everywhere, though, and with the bottom half of the table having a very congested look, every game takes on added importance. Expect a major shakeup in the Premier League relegation odds.
