Some 28 years after their last appearance, Scotland are back in the World Cup. An impressive qualifying campaign saw them top their group thanks to dramatic late goals from Kieran Tierney and Kenny McLean in the final game, a 4-2 win over Denmark.

Having come so close to previous World Cups but never quite managing to get over the hump, just being in the 2026 edition is a grand achievement in itself. Scotland Stage of Elimination Odds
