During the 2024 WNBA regular season, the Indiana Fever, featuring superstar rookie Caitlyn Clark, provided the most affordable spot for a family of four to catch a game.

Now the WNBA Playoffs have arrived, and the cost for a family to attend a game in person has shifted.

Bookies.com has calculated the cost of attending WNBA Playoff games at each arena for the 2024 season. On average, families will spend $322.19 for four of the cheapest available tickets, a parking spot, two beers, two sodas, and four hot dogs.

That’s an increase of nearly $50 from the regular season average of $274.04, and pricier than the $308.64 cost for a family of four to go to the average NBA game in 2023-24.

Betting apps and sportsbooks are paying close attention to these shifts.

The Minnesota Lynx are, by a wide margin, the most affordable postseason experience in the WNBA. On average, families of four will spend only $190.17 to see the Lynx on home court this postseason, which is actually cheaper than the $274.77 average to see them in the regular season.

Clark’s Fever is no longer the most affordable home ticket, but they’re still below the average, at $302.84.

While the Lynx cost families under $200 to attend a playoff game, seeing the Seattle Storm at home costs a league-high $472.07.

Lot Parking

Many WNBA arenas don’t have official parking lots or ramps. But most are located in downtown of a major city, offering several available locations to park.

That’s the issue in Brooklyn, where New York Liberty games averaged over $66 for a walkable distance (roughly 7 minutes) to the arena. That was by far the priciest parking in the WNBA, and the same cost as the Brooklyn Nets, whose parking was the most expensive in the NBA.

The cheapest? That’s easy: Free. The Connecticut Sun played at Mohegan Sun Arena, connected to the Mohegan Sun casino, the second-largest casino in the nation. Parking costs nothing.

Beer And Soda

We took beer prices and converted them all to 16-ounce size. After doing so, one can really see a dramatic difference in cost, depending on your venue.

Beers are just over $15 a pop at New York Liberty games for the most expensive suds in the WNBA. A similar beer in Atlanta was $7, the cheapest among the playoff teams.

Soda has its own volatility in prices, but less so than the Over-21 options. It’s just $5 each in Connecticut, Indiana and Atlanta. The Liberty again ranks No. 1 in expense here, too, at $9 each.

Hot Dogs

Ironically, the city down for $ 2-foot longs is the priciest place for a regular dog at a WNBA game. The Las Vegas Aces charges just over $11 for a hot dog. The Fever charges less than half that.
