The stage is set for one of the most improbable Final Fours in NCAA Tournament history this weekend in Houston. The No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 seeds all failed to make it out of the regional, leaving us with fresh blood and intriguing college basketball betting matchups at NRG Stadium. 

That’s especially true for the opener Saturday night, with No. 9-seeded Florida Atlantic taking on No. 5-seeded San Diego State. It’s the first ever Final Four appearance for both programs, and we’ve learned throughout this tournament that anything can happen. 

Seeding, rankings, strength of schedule, the name on the front of the jersey – none of that matters anymore. The surprising Aztecs and Owls are beyond it. They’re here, and they’re one win away from a National Championship appearance. 

Given the wild nature of things on the college hoops court this month, we’ve constructed a same-game parlay on sports betting apps for a little extra juice Saturday as the Final Four tips off in Houston. 

Best Final Four Same Game Parlay: Florida Atlantic-San Diego State

Leg 1: Florida Atlantic Moneyline +115

A total in the low 130s tells you exactly how oddsmakers expect this one to go. San Diego State has been able to slow it down every step of the way in this tournament, but the Owls can grind it out defensively as well. They took out the top defensive team in this tournament in convincing fashion with a win over Tennessee, and the Aztecs’ pace doesn’t give them a lot of room for error if they’re trading buckets down the stretch.

We like the college basketball odds on the Owls to get it done somehow, someway, like they have all tournament. We’re on Florida Atlantic moneyline for the first leg. 

Leg 2: Johnell Davis Over 1.5 Assists +115

Davis is coming off one of his best all-around games of the year, posting 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists in a win over Kansas State. The sophomore guard is comfortable distributing if needed, and the 3-point shot hasn’t been falling this month. He’s just 3-for-16 from deep in the NCAA Tournament and 0-for-7 the last two games. Getting others involved first should be the gameplan, and he’s been playing a ton of minutes. We’re on Davis Over 1.5 assists. 

Leg 3: Alijah Martin Over 1.5 3-pointers -250

As broke as Davis has been from deep, fellow sophomore guard Alijah Martin has picked up the slack. He’s shooting 42% from beyond the arc over the last five games and will not hesitate to pull the trigger whenever the Aztecs give him an inch of room. As we expect Davis to spread it around more, we like Martin to benefit and hit at least two threes on the night.
