Wednesday’s college basketball betting slate sees three top-ranked SEC teams in action, along with a few intriguing matchups in the Big East, Big Ten and beyond.

No. 13-ranked LSU is a +4 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s matchup at Alabama. No. 12 Kentucky is a -7.5 favorite at Texas A&M, while No. 2 Auburn is a whopping -21.5 home favorite against Georgia. Elsewhere, the Big Ten gives us a great matchup of two hot teams with Iowa a -3.5 favorite at Rutgers.

Wednesday’s College Basketball Betting Lines To Back

Boston College +7.5 over Louisville

These are two relatively evenly-matched teams. Boston College is slightly better on the defensive end and Louisville is a little more potent on offense, but the margins are small on both sides. The Cardinals have lost three straight and continue to struggle at home, going 2-7 against the spread so far this season at KFC Yum! Center.

Senior Eagles guard Makai Ashton-Langford has looked great in recent weeks, finishing with 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists in Saturday’s win over Clemson. We expect him to keep the Eagles in this one for 40 minutes behind another scrappy defensive performance. Boston College +7.5 is the play on betting apps.

Drake -6.5 over Bradley

The Bulldogs have been one of the worst teams in the country against the spread at just 3-12, but we don’t expect that trend to continue much longer. This is a reasonable number against a Bradley team that’s 0-5 on the road this season. The Braves aren’t overly strong on offense and Drake has been playing lockdown defense lately, giving up just 58.7 points per night over the last seven games.

Now is the time for the Bulldogs to put two strong halves together and start playing up to their potential. We’re on Drake -6.5 at sportsbooks and betting sites.

Iowa -3.5 over Rutgers

The Hawkeyes have won six of their last seven games and get another favorable matchup tonight against Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights are a slightly better defensive team, but they will struggle to match Iowa’s pace on the offensive end.

The Hawkeyes are averaging 85.9 points per night over their last seven games and covered the spread in five of them. The total has also gone Over in five straight Iowa games and that always favors the Hawkeyes. Rutgers should put up a decent fight before running out of steam on offense. We’re on Iowa -3.5.
