College Football DFS Week 3 has arrived and FanDuel and DraftKings are offering phenomenal main slates on Saturday. While this might not be the best CFB slate of the season, it's my favorite CFB DFS slate to date. There are plenty of angles to attack this slate with the public thinking very similarly. With a wide range of expected totals, let's dive into the top week 3 CFB DFS plays.

CFB DFS Week 3 Quarterbacks for FanDuel & DraftKings

Dorian Thompson-Robinson - UCLA - DK $8,300

After looking like one of the best QBs in the country week 1, Thompson-Robinson followed it up with an absolute stinker against Alcorn State. UCLA didn’t really need DTR to win the game and the low score will hopefully keep the masses away this week. Facing off with South Alabama, Thompson-Robinson is my favorite QB on the slate.

South ‘Bama doesn’t do anything particularly well on defense, but they are much better against the run. We also have just a 15.5 point spread in this one, so it’s fair to expect four meaningful quarters out of DTR. The price is suppressed on both sites after last week.

Jaxson Dart - Ole Miss - DK $9,000 FD $8,800

Dart hasn’t looked overly impressive in each of the first two games, which is why I am such a fan of his in tournaments this Saturday. The Rebels are projected to score 40 points as 16.5-point favorites over Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are horrid against the pass, allowing nearly 300 yards per game thus far.

Dart has a ton of upside and everything outside of his box score says he’s the top QB on the slate. While DTR holds that title for me, Dart is going to be under-owned and you can get triple the field without a ton of exposure. I’m a big fan in GPP’s, but understand the appeal in cash games if you like some cheaper RB/WRs.

Casey Thompson - Nebraska - DK $6,800 FD $9,500

Nebraska handed down the first head coach casualty of the season, canning Scott Frost after losing to lowly Georgia Southern. They’ll now face off with the Oklahoma Sooners, with interim HC Mickey Joseph at the helm. Expect the Cornhuskers to compete in this game, at least early. They have the talent to beat Oklahoma if the defense can hold its own and not give up 50 points.

Casey Thompson is a dual-threat QB who can put up 35+ fantasy points with ease when a game turns into a shootout. He has a ton of downside as Nebraksa prefers to set the tone with the run. However, they likely won’t have that luxury here. Thompson has the weapons to compete with the Sooners secondary and I expect a big game at a solid price.

Also Consider - Dillon Gabriel, Rocky Lombardi, Stetson Bennett

CFB DFS Week 3 Running Backs for FanDuel & DraftKings

Eric Gray - Oklahoma - DK $7,500 FD $6,800

While most will get their Oklahoma exposure with Dillon Gabriel and the passing game, don't ignore what Eric Gray has to offer. With a line of 11, the Sooners will likely hold a comfortable, but not huge, lead for the majority of this game. Gabriel has a ton of upside, but he’s also a bit volatile and Nebraska has difference-makers in their secondary.

Expect Gray to see at least 20 touches in this game and don’t be shocked if that number ends up closer to 30. The Sooners will lean on the running game here as the threat from Nebraska will be imminent. Gray also catches the ball, making him a safe play in all formats and my favorite overall back on the slate.

Zach Evans - Ole Miss - DK $7,500 FD $8,500

The safest way to play the Ole Miss offense is with Zach Evans. While Jaxson Dart is the guy who can turn the offense into a powerhouse, Evans is the motor behind it all. Ole Miss is going to put up 35-50 points in this game and Evans will see the ball 20 or so times.

This one is pretty simple. The Rebels hold the highest total on the slate and are 16.5 point favorites. Easy money at RB. In lineups where you don’t have Jaxson Dart, make sure Zach Evans is plugged in.

Also Consider - Kenny McIntosh, Zach Charbonnet, Byron Cardwell, Shaun Shivers

CFB DFS Week 3 Wide Receivers for FanDuel & DraftKings

Nathaniel Dell - Houston - DK $7,900 FD $8,800

Dell is the centerpiece of the Houston Cougars offense and holds a near 35% target share from QB Clayton Tune. The Cougars face off with an improved Kansas football team that is going to stay in this game from start to finish. However, they don’t have a shutdown CB and Dell will see 10+ targets once again.

Dell isn’t only a TD monster, scoring in eight of his last ten games, but he's also hit 100+ yards in six of those. While DraftKings corrected their pricing error from a week ago, Dell is still fairly priced on both sites and my top cash-game option next to the guy we’ll touch on next.

Marvin Mims - Oklahoma - DK $8,900 FD $8,900

While the majority of my Sooners exposure will come from Eric Gray and the running game, the Sooners could easily put up close to 50 points and multiple weapons in this offense are worth targeting. Even in the same lineup.

If you’re looking to stack a game, this is my favorite of the bunch. There’s a good chance Nebraska is forced to keep up offensively and I think they have a chance to do it. If that happens, Oklahoma will need to keep its foot on the gas and Mims will have a lot to do with it. Dell and Mims have similar upside, with Mims being the more expensive and popular option.

Michael Trigg - Ole Miss - DK $3,400 FD $5,500

If you’re looking to save money at WR, Michael Trigg is my favorite option. He’s actually a TE and one of the best receiving TEs in the country. His price is still extremely depressed on both FanDuel and DraftKings after catching a combined nine balls for three scores through two weeks. While the TDs might not come at a 1.5 per game clip, Trigg is a huge RZ target and my favorite way to keep the Dart/WR stack affordable.

Also Consider - Charlie Jones, Theo Wease, Michael Mayer
