Bettors will be taking a deep look at college football odds with serious interest. College football betting sites have posted lines for dozens of games this week.

Nine of the top 10 teams in the nation are in action this week. But there are no top-10 matchups. This means oddsmakers will be trying to balance potentially large point spreads with teams who need to produce lopsided wins in the case of potential tiebreakers in determining conference title game foes. And you can expect at least one upset among the nation’s best teams this week.

Where may that be? We’ll try to find out.

Opportunities abound all week and weekend on sports betting apps. For instance, BetMGM, FanDuel and ESPN BET have posted a healthy slate of futures concerning the college football playoff and season awards.

Take a look at our favorite college football picks for Week 10 of the 2024 season. Any team rankings are from the latest AP Top 25 Poll.

College Football Week 11 Best Bets To Back Today

College Football 2024 Week 11 Odds, Predictions, Other Bets To Make Today 1

Friday, November 8
Iowa at UCLA, 9 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The Bruins (3-5) dropped their first 4 B1G games before close wins over Rutgers, and a 27-20 win over Nebraska on Saturday, The 6-3 Hawkeyes are a mini-offensive juggernaut. They stomped Wisconsin 42-10 in Week 10. Midwest and East Coast B1G teams struggled out West early in the season, but things have since begun to settle with the quality teams emerging. Iowa is out of the B1G race but could still grab a top-tier bowl berth. The Hawkeyes are 8-1 on the over. We’re not sure they could carry any sizable total here by themselves. ESPN Analytics gives Iowa a 67.1% chance to win.

Best Bet: Iowa -5.5 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 9
Purdue at Ohio State, 12 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Oregon pitched a 35-0 shutout at Purdue (1-7, 0-5). That will be on the minds of the Bucks (7-1, 4-1). OSU's win over Penn State gives it a cushion in the Big 10. The College Football Playoff poll comes out Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Bucks will be looking for style points. The Boilermakers are hapless this season. The only issue here is when does Ryan Day pull his starters. Still, this a 5+ TD number. And the Bucks are just 4-4 ATS. ESPN Analytics gives Ohio State a 99% chance to win.

Best Bet: Purdue +38.5 Points (-110)  at FanDuel

Saturday, November 9
Miami at Georgia Tech, 12 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: Georgia Tech (5-4, 3-3) faces Miami after its bye and back-to-back losses to Notre Dame and Virginia Tech. The Hurricanes (9-0, 5-0) pulled off a monster flex at home against Duke, scoring 36 points in the second half and roaring to a 53-31 win and over (-20.5). The Canes are 5-3-1 ATS. With the first College Football Playoff poll coming out Tuesday, the Canes want to make sure they're given proper notice.  ESPN Analytics gives Miami a 76.9% chance to win.

Best Bet: Miami -12.5 (-115)  at FanDuel

Saturday, November 9
Iowa State at Kansas, 3:30 p.m. (FS1)

Buzz: The Cyclones (7-1, 4-1) visit Arrowhead Stadium in this “neutral site” matchup against the Jayhawks. Iowa State saw its road to the Big 12 title game hit a major pothole Saturday in. getting upset at home 23-22 by Texas Tech. In going 7-1 to start the season, Iowa State missed 3 covers. They failed to cover on an absurd 30-point number against North Dakota and a 13.5-point line in 38-35 win at UCF, and lost as 13.5-point favorites. This number moved 3 points after ISU's loss. Especially at Arrowhead where the crowd could have a significant cardinal and gold hue. ESPN Analytics gives Iowa State a 55.1% chance to win.

Best Bet: Iowa State -3.5 (-110) at FanDuel

Saturday, November 9
Michigan at Indiana, 3:30 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Four college football teams are unbeaten at 9-0 this season. Indiana joins Miami, Oregon and BYU in that group. But Indiana is tops ATS and the only school with 8 covers. The only cover IU (9-0, 5-0) missed this season was the hook on a 24.5-point line and 31-7 win over Florida International in Week 1. Meanwhile, Michigan (5-4, 3-3) keeps stealing money while going 2-7 ATS. Indiana averages 17.2 points after its 47-10 win at Michigan State. This number moved 3 points since Saturday. We locked in Indiana at -9.5. A win over Michigan would give the Hoosiers its most-impressive “statement” win of the season. And would come 2 weeks ahead of an all-the-marbles game at Ohio State. ESPN Analytics gives Indiana an 86.8% chance to win.

Best Bet: Indiana -12.5 (-110)  at FanDuel

Saturday, November 9
Clemson at Virginia Tech, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: Both teams are coming off losses this week. Dabo Swinney and the Tigers had no idea what hit them Saturday. They had scored 40 points in 5 of 6 games ahead of their Week 10 33-21 loss at Louisville. Clemson (6-2, 5-1) has covered in only 4 games. Tech (5-4, 3-2) somehow lost 38-31 in OT at Syracuse. Cade Klubnik may not get the time he needs to throw here, in the same way he struggled against Louisville. Clemson beat Stanford 40-14 at home and the Hokies lost the same team 31-7 on the road. But Blacksburg can be very inhospitable. Especially to road teams trying to cover TD-sized spreads. ESPN Analytics gives Clemson a 62.6% chance to win.

Best Bet: Virginia Tech +6 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 9
Colorado at Texas Tech, 4 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Coach Prime has the Buffaloes (6-2, 4-1) in contention for a spot in the Big 12 title game and a potential slot in the college football playoff. Shadeur Sanders and Travis Hunter could clinch a spot in the Big 12 title game if they win out. Texas Tech (6-3, 4-2) rolled into Ames Saturday and knocked off previously unbeaten Iowa States 23-23. Colorado clipped Baylor in a 38-31 OT win on Sept. 21, while Tech got stomped by the Bears 3 weeks ago, giving up 59 points. The Buffs are 6-2 on the line to match a 6-2 record through 8 games. ESPN Analytics gives Colorado a  63.6% chance to win. This one is gonna be good.

Best Bet: Colorado -3.5 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 9
Washington at Penn State, 8 p.m. (Peacock)

Buzz: The Nittany Lions fell flat on their face at home against Ohio State Saturday, blowing their shot at the Big 10 title game. While the Lions are 7-1 overall, they sit 3-5 ATS. Washington is winless on the road this season having gone 0-3 straight up and ATS. Washington (5-4, 3-3) beat USC 26-21. The Huskies lost by 24 at Iowa and by 17 at Indiana. This one will be lopsided early. The Lions need a decisive home run to dull the "Fire James Franklin" vibe. ESPN Analytics gives Penn State an 87.2% chance to win. This one is an online exclusive, streaming only on Peacock.

Best Bet: Penn State -13.5 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 9
BYU at Utah, 10:15 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: Both teams roll into the Salt Lake State showdown at Rice Eccles Stadium coming off their respective byes. BYU (8-0, 5-0) has gone 7-1 against the spread in its first 8 games. Cougars’ QB Jake Retzlaff leads an offense that’s scored 34 or more points in its past 6 games. He’s got 18 TD passes against just 7 interceptions for 1872 yards. BYU is ticketed for a spot in the Big 12 title game if it wins out and this could be its most difficult game remaining, especially given the gravity of the intrastate rivalry. The Utes (4-4, 1-4) have fallen flat this season. They sit at 2-6 ATS. They will try to turn this one into a season-salvaging upset. But BYU’s offense won’t cooperate. ESPN Analytics gives BYU a 59.3% chance to win.

Best Bet: BYU -4.5 Points (-110)  at DraftKings
