Jaden Rashada, the quarterback who now-famously nearly received $13 million in NIL money from the Florida Gators, after bailing out of his agreement to join the Miami Hurricanes, only to see the deal fall through and enlist at Arizona State, before leaving there and joining the Georgia Bulldogs, is now back on the open market.

Rashada announced on Jan. 5 his entrance into the spring transfer portal cycle. The former four-star QB recruit with comparison to Jared Goff is going to be a key addition to some program.

Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has surveyed the landscape and updated his college football futures odds as to where Rashada will play his college ball in 2025.

Rashada has committed to four college programs in just two seasons of official college football. He also attended three different high schools, so "commitment" is more of an idea than a binding thing for the 6-foot-4, 190-pound quarterback.

Rashada played in just three games for the Sun Devils in 2023 due to a knee injury and also had off-season thumb surgery. Rashada passed for 485 yards in those games, with four TDs and three INTs.

He joined Georgia but never got higher than No. 3 on the depth chart for 2024. So now he's on the move again after one season in Athens.

The California native stated before joining the Bulldogs that he wanted to go to a program where he could be the immediate starter. NIL money talked louder, so he still went there and didn't attempt a single pass.

There will be opportunities to start at a high major, and other instances in which he could flourish. The competition could get intense.

UCLA might wind up being the top option. Rashada could return to his home state and join a program that lost its top-two QBs and had its top commitment flip to Arkansas. There is no viable option for the Bruins, and they need one after a tough first year in the Big Ten.

Ole Miss has been shopping in the QB transfer portal; as of now, promising-but-unheralded three-star freshman Austin Simmons is the top QB1 option. Joining Lane Kiffin in Oxford gives Rashada another high-profile position to win, and an offense that has been highly prolific over the last few seasons.

Auburn, Texas A&M and LSU could all be in the market for a QB, and the competition will be intense. A&M spends more than just about any program, so the Aggies could have a leg up.

Florida State is desperate for a new QB after a disastrous 2024 season and coach Mike Norvell's job is surely on the line for a quick rebound.

California needs a QB as well, losing its starter to Indiana. The Bears went 2-6 in their first season in the ACC, and they could have the financial resources to compete with the SEC and Big Ten. And the move could be enticing for the Bay Area native.

The Field includes teams that would offer a healthy competition at the premier level, including Ohio State, Penn State, Notre Dame and USC
