The latest IPL auction is ready for another year. While we may not see records tumble like last year's mega auction, there are sure to be plenty of high-priced players bought. Which Players Will Be Bought in IPL Auction 2026?

Chennai Super Kings

The second most successful franchise in IPL history, Chennai Super Kings are likely to be well backed at Indian cricket betting apps to go far once again after a disappointing 2025 season. 

The Super Kings retained a large majority of their players, including MS Dhoni returning for potentially one more season at 44. Ravindra Jadeja was traded for Sanju Samson at Rajasthan Royals.

Gujarat Titans

The Titans have as strong a core as most with Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Sira, Prasidh Krishna, Jos Buttler, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar in situ. They will likely look for domestic spinners and hard-hitting middle order batters.

Lucknow Super Giants

Lucknow narrowly missed out on the playoffs for the second time in a row after a late-season collapse. They have kept faith with much of the same team and need to find just six players. David Miller was released, so a finisher will be high up on the agenda for LSG.

Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings blew up their squad last offseason, and it paid off in a big way, with new skipper Shreyas Iyer leading them to the best record in the league. They were then narrowly beaten by six runs in the final by RCB.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

RCB has been the perennial nearly men in IPL before finally getting over the line and winning it all last season. Phil Salt and Virat Kohli were among the best opening pairs in IPL last season, and they have kept most of their squad in tact.

They will need to replace Liam Livingstone from last year's team, while talisman Josh Hazlewood has spent a lot of the winter injured so a back up for him would be most welcome.
