The Colorado Rockies have added their second betting partnership. Betfred USA Sports announced Wednesday it has entered into a multiyear marketing and sponsorship agreement with the team.

The Rockies first reached a sports betting partnership deal with DraftKings in September.

"Colorado has proven to be a fantastic market for Betfred Sports, and we look forward to further demonstrating our commitment to local fans with this partnership with the Rockies," Bryan Bennett, chief operating officer of Betfred USA Sports, said in a news release. "Along with our sportsbook at Saratoga Casino Black Hawk and our other sports partnerships in the state, Betfred is investing in Colorado for the long haul."

Betfred will also enhance the game-day experience for fans in Colorado with ticket giveaways, game suites, in-game contests and more, the release said.

This is the third sports betting marketing agreement Betfred has reached in the state. The operator has partnerships with the Denver Broncos as well as former Broncos wide receiver Rod Smith. Betfred was the first brick-and-mortar sportsbook to open in Colorado at Saratoga Casino Black Hawk in June 2020 before launching online in August.

"Sports betting has seen incredible growth across the country recently and we are always looking for new and exciting ways to engage with not only our fans but all sports fans throughout the Rocky Mountain Region."



Second Deal for the Rockies

The Rockies’ MLB betting deal with DraftKings in September made DraftKings an official daily fantasy and sports betting operator for the organization.

With the deal, DraftKings has in-stadium branding rights and has a license to use the team’s trademarks and logos. The team and sports betting operator will also collaborate on a digital content series featuring player appearances on DraftKings’ original “The Sweat” program, in addition to podcasts, live videos and more.

“We are proud to grow our presence in Colorado both in announcing our latest deal with the Rockies and also look forward to soon officially opening the doors to our newest retail sportsbook at Mardi Gras Casino and Resort,” Matt Kalish, co-founder and president of DraftKings, said in the news release announcing the deal. “In the short span since launching our top-rated mobile sportsbook app in Colorado this past May, Coloradans have proven to be among our most engaged customers, which makes our deepened connection to the state through these collaborations all the more exciting.”
