Which NBA Christmas Day 2019 4-Team Parlay You Should Back
There's nothing quite like the NBA's slate of Christmas Day games. The league is as wide open as it's ever been, and three of the five spreads on the docket are one possession or less. The best of the best always square off on this day, and 2019 is no exception: Of the 10 players with the best MVP odds, nine will suit up after they unwrap their presents under the Christmas tree (Giannis, Harden, LeBron, Davis, Embiid, Leonard, George, Jokic, Siakam).
It's 12 hours and five games of glorious basketball, and we've got a parlay for you to hop on: Away teams and heavy favorites. Parlay Celtics spread, Bucks spread, Rockets ML, Nuggets ML at +414 with Unibet. Simply click on the blue “CLAIM” button and head to the sportsbook to make your bet.
Here’s why we like this parlay:
Leg 1: Celtics -2.5 at Raptors
The Celtics are an NBA-best 17-8-2 ATS this season, and that includes an impressive 5-2 mark ATS as an underdog. Brad Stevens will have his group ready against an injury-riddled Raptors squad. And while their group is not much different than it was last season (see: Leonard, Kawhi), reigning NBA champs are just 3-8 ATS on Christmas Day since 2008. The Celtics are the rightful favorites here, even in a difficult road environment.
Leg 2: Bucks +.5 vs. 76ers
Want to guess the Bucks' record as underdogs this season? It doesn't exist. They've been favorites in all 31 games to this point, but at 27-4 (with an 18-13 ATS record) why wouldn't you take the points? Philadelphia has been outstanding at home, but they've also lost two of their last three there and have struggled against the Bucks of late, having lost two of three to them a year ago. The Bucks are the NBA's best team. Take the points.
Leg 3: Rockets ML at Warriors
The Rockets take care of bad teams. They've been favored by nine or more points eight times this season, and they're 8-1 SU with an average winning margin of 12.3 points. They're only 3-6 ATS in that span, but they rarely suffer bad losses. It certainly won't happen against a hapless Warriors team that has two home wins since early November (and they came against the Bulls and Pelicans). The Rockets win this one easy.
Leg 4: Nuggets ML vs. Pelicans
The Nuggets were the NBA's best home team last year, and they're beginning to look like it again this season. After a pedestrian 3-2 start in Denver, they have won 10 of their last 11 at home (and their only loss was to the Lakers). They've also won six straight games – including one over the Lakers – so they're playing well now, regardless of venue. The Pelicans are playing on Christmas because Zion Williamson was supposed to be playing. New Orleans is 2-11 SU as a road underdog and 0-12 SU when it’s 4.5-point underdogs or worse.
