Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo could be on the move at this week’s NBA Trade Deadline. He has been out with a calf injury since Jan. 24 and might miss a few more weeks.

With Antetokounmpo potentially being dealt, Bookies.com has put together hypothetical Giannis Antetokounmpo Next Team Odds on where the nine-time All-NBA star could head in a blockbuster trade.

Bookies.com updated these NBA odds for the center’s destination with the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline approaching.

Note: Around noon ET on Feb. 5, ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported Giannis is "not expected to be traded" today.

Last summer, Milwaukee flamed out of the first round of the NBA Playoffs for the third year in a row. Since the Bucks won the NBA Championship in 2021, the team has only won one playoff series.

Now with the Bucks under .500 more than halfway through the 2025-26 season, Milwaukee general manager Jon Horst again will gauge the trade value of their two-time league Most Valuable Player, even if we still give the Bucks +120 odds of keeping him through tomorrow.

Where Giannis' Contract Stands

The Milwaukee Bucks have been terrible this season, and changes are coming. They have not missed the playoffs since the 2015-16 season but going into Thursday they were 19-29 and 12th in the Eastern Conference. Milwaukee is 3.5 games behind the Bulls for the last play-in spot and eight games behind the Philadelphia 76ers for the No. 6 seed, the final automatic postseason qualification place.

The 2021 NBA Finals MVP wants to win, and the Bucks do not seem likely to win anything anytime soon, which is why his name is in trade rumors right now. Still, at 31, Antetokounmpo is one of the league’s best players, so the Bucks would be better off keeping the forward rather than dealing him.

Antetokounmpo has two years left on the three-year extension he signed with the Bucks, with a player option for the 2027-28 campaign before he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2028. This year, Antetokounmpo carries a salary cap hit of $54.1 million, with that figure going up to $58.4 million next year and $62.7 million (if he exercises his player option) the following season.

Minnesota T'Wolves (+650)

Another team in win-now mode. Imagine Giannis alongside Anthony Edwards? The T'Wolves have won three straight headed into the weekend and coach Chris Finch would present an innovative scheme for Giannis alongside Edwards. Customers using the BetMGM bonus code can get +2000 on the T'Wolves to win the NBA title as of Fe. 4.

Miami Heat (+1000)

Never rule out Miami when it comes to attracting and landing big-name talent. Pat Riley of course landed LeBron James and Chris Bosh back in the day, and Jimmy Butler was another veteran who helped lead Miami to the Finals. This is a franchise that's always competitive, and Giannis knows it. Keep an eye on Miami this week.

Golden State Warriors (+1000)

The Golden State Warriors are on the decline, but with superstar Steph Curry still on the roster, they cannot rebuild. That’s why the Warriors will be on the lookout for upgrades ahead of this year’s trade deadline, and no doubt picking up Antetokounmpo would be a huge addition.

New York Knicks (+1500)

The New York Knicks are heavily rumored to be one of the destinations that Antetokounmpo could accept being traded to if he is dealt. While Antetokounmpo doesn’t have a no-trade clause, any team that acquires him would want to know he will sign a contract extension with them, and the Knicks certainly would give him a maximum deal.

The Knicks just won the NBA Cup, but the NBA Championship still eludes them. Picking up someone like Antetokounmpo, who is one of the best players in the entire league, would put the Knicks in the league’s elite.

The Field (+1750)

Antetokounmpo is one of the top five players in the NBA, and he is still in the prime of his athletic career even in his 13th season. If the Bucks do trade Antetokounmpo, he will likely get to pick his destination, but since every team in the league could use him, The Field is a real possibility.

What Antetokounmpo Means To Bucks

A lot. His mileage has ramped up in recent years thanks to long postseason runs in Milwaukee, but the veteran of 889 games is having his best shooting season to date, hitting 64.5% of his field goals (on pace for a career high) and 39.5% of his 3-point attempts, which also would reset his career best.

Any package that includes the nine-time All-Star will be steep – current players and draft picks likely would be a requirement – but that would be more than worthwhile for most league GMs, given Antetokounmpo’s star power.
