The Golden State Warriors being a non-factor over the last two seasons has been vastly different from the usual. Led by Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, Golden State helped change the NBA to a more modernized game. With an emphasis on spacing and three-point shooting, the Warriors became a juggernaut in the mid-2010s. Now, they have missed the playoffs in consecutive years.
Being able to stockpile young talent, plus the imminent return of Thompson from back-to-back season-ending injuries, Golden State is poised for a major bounce-back campaign. However, will it be enough to put them back in real title contention in 2021-22?
Let’s dive into the NBA futures odds from sportsbooks on the Warriors’ projected outlook.
Warriors Win-Total Betting
The Line: 48.5 with PointsBet
The Western Conference is as loaded as ever, which means it’s going to be tough sledding for a Warriors team trying to regain their magic from a few years ago. However, if the young core gels together well with the longstanding trio of Curry, Thompson, and Green, they could realistically flirt with a 50-win season.
The Bet: Golden State is long gone now from relying on lottery odds to improve their roster. In 2021-22, they will be a solidified playoff contender with real championship aspirations maximizing potentially their final window in the Curry era. I would lean towards the Warriors just barely eclipsing the 48.5 projection put together by betting apps.
Warriors Pacific Division Odds
The Line: +475 with BetMGM ➜
The Warriors slide in with the third-best odds on BetMGM Sportsbook to win the Pacific Division behind the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns. This feels spot-on, especially when realizing how good the Lakers and Suns will be in 2021-22. Although the Warriors will be a strong contender, it’s going to be a real daunting task to upend these two teams in their division.
The Bet: It’s hard to envision the Warriors winning the Pacific Division with even better rosters now in Los Angeles and Phoenix. Avoid this one on betting sites with the Warriors likely to fail in winning their division during the regular season.

Warriors Western Conference Odds
The Line: +550 with DraftKings ➜
The NBA odds available at DraftKings on the Warriors are very high to win the Western Conference. Finishing second behind the Los Angeles Lakers at +550, Golden State’s projection is sky-high. However, is it realistic within a conference with so many teams ready to make deep playoff runs?
The Bet: +550 odds for the Warriors is enticing, but I don’t see them making an NBA Finals appearance with so many new pieces in place on their roster. Avoid this bet as one of your NBA picks.

Warriors NBA Title Odds
The Line: +1000 with Caesars Sportsbook ➜
Golden State comes in with the fourth-best NBA 2022 title odds behind the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Milwaukee Bucks. Again, another projection where there’s a very rosy outlook for Golden State making a real title push.
The Bet: Golden State is not in the elite tier of teams for me, which puts serious doubt on them winning a championship. Avoid this future bet for the Warriors.

Best Warriors Player Prop Bets
The Line: Stephen Curry NBA Highest Points Average 2021-22, +470 with FanDuel ➜
After leading the NBA in scoring last season, who’s to say an encore isn’t in store from Stephen Curry? One of the best players in the modern era is aging like fine wine, and his three-point volume continues to climb. With Curry being such a proficient perimeter scorer, there’s no reason to believe he can’t eclipse 30 points per game once more in 2021-22.
The Bet: Curry is in second on FanDuel for these odds behind Bradley Beal, who will have ample opportunities to pour in the points. However, I would lean towards Curry landing back-to-back scoring titles. With Klay Thompson’s return, the floor will open up even more for Curry to do damage against opposing teams.
