The Los Angeles Lakers remain betting, if not emotional, favorites to win NBA Finals. But the Miami Heat have turned this series into a thrilling contest for bettors. The Heat trail 2-1 on the court but have covered the point spread in two of the three games. Game 4 takes place tonight inside the NBA Bubble at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Jimmy Butler took charge in a 115-104 Game 3 stunner won by Miami. Butler delivered a triple double, headlined by a 40-point performance that had him mocking the sound of a “GOAT” on social media Monday. And Butler and the Heat won without Goran Dragic (torn plantar fascia in left foot) and Bam Adebayo (neck strain). Dragic remains doubtful for tonight, while Adebayo is questionable.

NBA Finals Game 4 Betting Odds

Here are the odds for Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The Lakers are a modest 7.5-favorite at most online books moving toward tonight’s tip. That line held at DraftKings and Willian Hill. The Lakers are -310 at William Hill and -305 at DraftKings for moneyline bettors.

The over/under for total points for Game 4 of the NBA Finals is 219 at Fan Duel and 219.5 at BetMGM. Bettors can get complete up-to-the-minute Lakers-Heat Game 4 NBA Finals odds here.

Can Miami Work Its Magic Again?

Anthony Davis struggled early and often in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, scoring just 15 points.

Butler earned his superlatives in an explosive Game 3. He added 13 assists and 11 rebounds to his 40-point outburst Sunday and became the first player to log a 40-point triple-double in the NBA Finals. The Heat found a missing streak of passion and intensity that was lacking in the first two games of this series when the Lakers appeared destined for a sweep. The Heat only need to replicate it three times over the next four games to claim the title.

No problem, right?

Given all that the Lakers have at stake in this series in terms of history and legacy, it would be historic on multiple fronts to Los Angeles not to rebound literally and metaphorically.

Even without its full contingent of big-name players, the Heat were able to frustrate LeBron James — who walked off the court with 10 seconds to play in the Game 3 loss — and stymie Anthony Davis. After averaging 33 points over the first two games of the series, Davis’ offensive production was more than halved in Game 3 as he put up just 15 points after a pair of early fouls.

Prop & Futures Bets For Lakers, Heat

In NBA futures markets, the Lakers are still a substantial favorite to win this series and the championship. Los Angeles sits at -1667 to win the series at DraftKings, while the Heat should fetch a few wagers +900 at BetMGM. The consensus favorite for number of games in series is under 6.5, which is -770 at DraftKings. The same site as has over 6.5 games at +480

There is now some suspense in the race to win NBA Finals MVP honors. James is -300 at FanDuel and -286 at BetMGM. Davis has slipped back to +300 and +225, respectively, while Butler moved up from +2000 to +900 after Game 3 at FanDuel. He is +1100 to be MVP at BetMGM.
