Orlando Magic Odds, Futures & Betting Predictions To Back

The Magic never really had a window to compete for the postseason, but they officially closed it when they traded Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon last season. Now they’re in a full-on rebuild with a number of potential cornerstones who are more unknowns than anything at this point.
Looking for an NBA betting trend with Orlando? Despite having an awful offense, they hit the over at a 55% clip last season. There will be some value at betting sites with the Magic in 2022.
Magic Win-Total Betting
The Line: 21.5 (-110) at FanDuel
The Magic traded Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic on March 25. From that point until the end of the season, Orlando went 6-22; that’s an 18-win pace over the course of an 82-game season. We’re not sure they’ll be that much better, especially late when they “rest” some of their key players to better position themselves for the Lottery. Betting apps have this total low, and we agree with it.
The Bet: It’s going to be an ugly season in Orlando. We like the Under at FanDuel.

Magic Division Odds
The Line: +15000 with BetMGM
The Southeast isn’t the best division in the NBA, but it does feature a pair of playoff locks in the Heat and Hawks. Even the Wizards and Hornets should flirt with play-in tournament status, leaving the Magic a distant fifth — with a slim chance of topping the Wizards for fourth if Washington trades Bradley Beal. There are hundreds of NBA picks to play this season better than this one.
The Bet: There’s no value here. Either the Heat or Hawks will win this one. Bet on those teams instead at BetMGM Sportsbook.

Magic Conference Odds
The Line: +10000 at WynnBET
The Magic last won the Eastern Conference when Hall of Famer Dwight Howard took down LeBron James and the Cavs in 2009. James is technically out of the East, so the Magic wouldn’t have to go through him, but Orlando won’t be sniffing the postseason — even in a best-case scenario. This team is playing for Lottery balls. Sportsbooks naturally have this at incredibly long odds.
The Bet: Don’t be tempted by these odds at WynnBET.

Magic NBA Title Odds
The Line: +30000 with PointsBet Sportsbook
If you’ve read this far, you know the Magic have no chance of winning it all. We really do love their young core, but they’re in full rebuild mode and will be out of the postseason hunt — let alone a title hunt — by the All-Star break. Let’s revisit this in a few years when Suggs, Isaac, Fultz and any other future picks begin to blossom. Find much better NBA odds elsewhere.
The Bet: Don’t bet on the Magic to earn their first championship. Find other NBA title odds at PointsBet Sportsbook.

Best Magic Player Prop Bets
The Line: Jalen Suggs Rookie of the Year, +700 at DraftKings
Though he played just one year of college basketball, Suggs has an NBA-ready skill set. He’s also a point guard and will play plenty of minutes. That checks a whole lot of boxes that we look for with NBA futures when considering Rookie of the Year. Suggs will be in the running all season.
The Bet: We love his value here. It’s one of our favorite NBA futures bets at DraftKings Sportsbook.
