The Phoenix Suns were the Cinderella story of 2020-21 NBA betting. After missing the playoffs for 11 consecutive seasons, Phoenix went on a miraculous run to its first NBA Finals appearance since 1993. Bringing back all of their top contributors led by Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton, the Suns are poised to stay atop the Western Conference’s hierarchy for the 2021-22 campaign. Phoenix has the perfect blend of ascending young talent alongside win-now veterans.

That’s great news for local fans, as Arizona sports betting is now legal and live, meaning Suns bettors NBA odds every day on their favorite team.

Booker, Ayton, Mikal Bridges, and Cameron Johnson help form one of the best age-25 or under cores. Meanwhile, acquiring Chris Paul and Jae Crowder last offseason was the main excellent for the Suns to go from pretenders to legit contenders. Bringing back a loaded roster, the Suns had a fantastic offseason as well. On top of re-signing Paul and backup point guard Cameron Payne, Phoenix also added shooting guard Landry Shamet and center JaVale McGee to bolster an already strong bench unit.

In line to be a threat to make another run to the Finals (albeit with less attractive NBA title odds than last season, here are the key Suns-related odds and how you should bet them when canvassing various betting apps and sportsbooks.

Suns Win-Total Betting

The Line: 51.5 with DraftKings

This feels like one of the best NBA futures available, especially for a team that won 51 games last season in a 72-game regular season. Phoenix has an even more well-balanced, stronger roster this time around. Add in even more chemistry developing between Paul and the Suns’ young core, hammering the Over here feels like a super safe bet to make.

The Bet: Phoenix should cruise over this projected win total, potentially flirting with a 60-win campaign.

Suns Pacific Division Odds

The Line: +200 with BetMGM

The odds are juiced on betting sites in favor of the new Big 3 in Hollywood with the Los Angeles Lakers. Adding Russell Westbrook alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis has led to Los Angeles leapfrogging Phoenix in the Pacific Division race. Unlike the Lakers, Phoenix will not have to worry about any on-court adjustments in real time. Working in Westbrook could lead to some cohesion issues early on. Meanwhile, the Suns’ rotation is largely untouched from last season.

The Bet: At +200 odds, I would roll the dice at BetMGM on the Suns staying atop the Lakers for the 2021-22 Pacific Division crown. It will be a nip-and-tuck battle between Phoenix and Los Angeles, but I side with the roster who has little to no changes.

Suns Western Conference Odds

The Line: +650 WynnBET

NBA future bets related to the eventual Western Conference winner has the Suns with the third-best odds alongside the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers. This is surprising, especially for the Clippers because of Kawhi Leonard’s looming absence. In terms of power rankings in the West, Phoenix is comfortably in a tier above Utah and the Clippers for me.

The Bet: I would take these juicy odds over at WynnBET and run with it. Phoenix is on track to be a top team in the West in 2021-22. Holding home-court advantage with fans back in arenas will be crucial, and Phoenix should be one of those teams.

Suns NBA Title Odds

The Line: +1500 with Caesars Sportsbook

Although the Suns are defending Western Conference champions, they slide in with the fifth-best odds in the NBA to win the title in 2021-22. Trailing the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors, Phoenix is tied with Utah at +1500 odds. This feels too low for Phoenix, and I would put them above a team like Golden State, who will be interacting Klay Thompson back into their lineup after a two-year absence.

The Bet: At +1500 odds, this is a very solid future bet to try out over at Caesars Sportsbook. If Phoenix can carry over its scorching hot momentum into the 2021-22 season, then this is a very enticing bet to wager on.

Best Suns Player Prop Bets

The Line: Devin Booker MVP, +2800 with FanDuel

MVP narratives always help control who remains in the race throughout an 82-game regular season. Not only does a player need to put up gaudy statistical numbers, but their team needs to be excellent as well. The Suns and Devin Booker qualify as one of the best sleeper MVP dark-horse candidates. If Booker can average around 27-28 points per game with the Suns flirting with the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, he will pop up in MVP discussions.

The Bet: Booker has all the ingredients in place to be an MVP candidate with the individual numbers and overall team success. We like this prop at FanDuel.
