Friday, February 13, 9 p.m. ET: NBA Rising Stars Challenge
On Friday night, the NBA Rising Stars Challenge takes place, highlighting all of the league’s top young talent. This year, we have four teams competing in the challenge that are being led by former NBA stars. Here they are, along with their NBA betting odds to win the tournament:
- Team T-Mac (coached by Tracy McGrady) +180
- Team Vince (coached by Vince Carter) +230
- Team Melo (coached by Carmelo Anthony) +230
- Team Austin (coached by Austin Rivers) +850
Team T-Mac, Team Vince, and Team Melo all feature current NBA players, while Team Austin is full of G-League players. The favorite is Team T-Mac, which makes sense given the team is full of stars such as Jalen Johnson, Kon Knueppel, Jaylon Tyson, and more. For our pick to win, we like Team Vince at +230, whose roster includes young studs such as Matas Buzelis, VJ Edgecombe, and Derik Queen, among others. We think Edgecombe will put them over the top.
Saturday, February 14, 5 p.m. ET: NBA 3-Point Contest
On Saturday night, the NBA 3-Point Contest takes place. This year’s field features eight contestants. Here they are, along with their betting odds to win the challenge:
- Kon Knueppel +400
- Damian Lillard +425
- Jamal Murray +550
- Tyrese Maxey +600
- Donovan Mitchell +600
- Devin Booker +750
- Norman Powell +800
- Bobby Portis +850
Our pick to win it all is Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel, who is a slight favorite at +400 odds. Knueppel is having an absolutely astonishing rookie season, shattering records along the way for 3-pointers made by a first-year player while shooting 3-pointers at a 43.1% clip. Right now, he is the best 3-point shooter in the field, and we like him here at +400 odds. For a long shot, consider Bobby Portis. While Portis is considered the least likely to win, he actually has the highest 3P% this season of any player in the field at 45%, so don’t completely count him out here. Keep in mind that, along with betting on the winner, you can also bet on Round 1 Alt Score, Best Streak, and High Score, so there are other ways to wager on the 3-Point Contest.

Saturday, February 14, 5 p.m. ET: NBA Shooting Stars
Also on Saturday night, it’s the NBA Shooting Stars competition. This year, we have four teams in the challenge, which are listed below, along with their odds to win the contest:
- Team Knicks +150 (Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Allan Houston)
- Team Cameron +250 (Jalen Johnson, Kon Knueppel, Corey Maggette)
- Team All-Stars +400 (Scottie Barnes, Chet Holmgren, Richard Hamilton)
- Team Harper +450 (Ron Harper Sr., Ron Harper Jr., Dylan Harper)
This should be an awesome tournament as each team features two current NBA players along with a former league star. Team Knicks is the favorite at +150, which makes sense considering it features two of the most skilled players in the league right now in Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, plus a legendary Knick in Allan Houston. But we also like Team Cameron at +250, as both Jalen Johnson and Kon Knueppel are having amazing seasons, plus Corey Maggette was a very underrated player during his playing years, so we think they can win this.
Saturday, February 14, 5 p.m. ET: NBA Dunk Contest
The final challenge on Saturday night is the NBA Dunk Contest. The year features four of the top dunkers in the NBA going at it. They are:
- Jaxson Hayes +175
- Carter Bryant +175
- Keshad Johnson +450
- Jase Richardson +500
As the odds indicate, we favor Jaxson Hayes to win the NBA Dunk Contest at +175 odds. Hayes has been finishing highlight-reel dunks all season long for the Los Angeles Lakers, and we think he has a good chance to win this contest. For a long shot, consider Jase Richardson at +500. His father, Jason Richardson, won the NBA Dunk Contest in 2002 and 2003, so it would be an incredible story if his son Jase were able to win it all 23 years later in this contest.

Sunday, February 15, 5 p.m. ET: NBA All-Star Game
The main event of NBA All-Star Weekend is the NBA All-Star Game taking place on Sunday night. This year, three teams are participating in a USA vs. The World format, with two American teams and one international squad. Here are the betting odds for these teams to win it all:
- World +165
- USA Stripes +170
- USA Stars +200
The odds are very tight for this contest, which makes sense as all three teams are completely loaded with some of the biggest stars in the NBA. That being said, the World team at +165 is the best bet here, as they have the best team in the field. The loaded World team features the likes of Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and Victor Wembanyama. If Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander were healthy, this wouldn’t even be close, as this team is stacked. That being said, both the USA Stripes and USA World teams are all chock-full of All-Stars, so you can’t count either team out of winning it all, although we do like the World to come through.
You can also bet on the All-Star Game MVP award. The current favorite is San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama at +600, which makes sense given that he is the face of the league right now. But realistically, any of the 24 All-Stars in the game can win this, so we would consider long shots such as Jamal Murray +2500 and Deni Avdija at +4000, as well.
Good luck with your bets this weekend, and enjoy the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities!
