Missouri sports betting launches on December 1 at 12 a.m.
The Kansas City Chiefs play their home games at Arrowhead Stadium. That venue first opened in 1972. The venue underwent a major renovation from 2007-10. It may surprise some that it ranks as the third oldest stadium used in the NFL, ranking only behind Green Bay’s Lambeau Field and Solider Field in Chicago.
Next door, the Kansas City Royals play inside Kauffman Stadium. Originally opened in 1973, the stadium underwent a major renovation from 2007-09. It stands as the 5th oldest venue in Major League Baseball. The older stadiums are: Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium and Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.
The St. Louis Cardinals moved into the newest version of Busch Stadium in 2006 and won the World Series in the stadium’s rookie season. The St. Louis Blues’ call Enterprise Center home. That venue debuted in 1994. All three pro soccer teams in Missouri – the Kansas City Current, Sporting KC and St. Louis City - enjoy new, modern-day venues.

Breakdown The Best & Worst Seats In Missouri
Here's a rundown of the best and worst seat for each of the 6 professional sports teams in Missouri. (Teams listed alphabetically.)
Kansas City Chiefs, Arrowhead Stadium

The Chiefs produce winners on the field. However, our worst seat at their home stadium – Section 341, Row 46, Seat 16 (above) - ranks as the worst seat in all of pro sports in Missouri. It sits 480.2 feet from midfield. It ranks 14th in the NFL in terms of stadium’s with the worst nosebleed seats in the NFL.

Chiefs fans know that Patrick Mahomes looks like a champ – even from that distance. Our best seat - Section 119, Row 21, Seat 14 (above) - places you up from midfield, right at the 50. That gives you just enough space to see the entire field without fan obstruction. And puts you close to all the concessions at the lower level.
Kansas City Current, CPKC Stadium

The newest pro sports venue in Missouri belongs to the Kansas City Current of the NWSL. The team in 2025 set league single-season records for the most wins (21), most points (65) and most clean sheets (16). Co-owners Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, and Chris and Angie Long opened CPKC Stadium as the first stadium in the world built specifically for a women’s soccer team in 2024. The team has played in front of sell-out crowds ever since.
The best seat at CPKC Stadium in all of Missouri can be found in Section 127, Row 8, Seat 8 (above). That’s lands you right in the middle of the pitch, and just elevated enough to get a level view of all the action. The venue offers fans concessions for every taste, and ample restrooms for all fans.

Given the stadium’s design – no seat is more than 100 feet from the pitch – its “worst” seat is a misnomer. The venue offers a sensory room and a peanut-free environment. Section 232, Row 20, Seat 8 (above) leaves you as far from the pitch as possible. But compared to so many other venues, the “worst” seat at CPKC Stadium puts you much closer to action than many other venues. Never mind close to some of the best concession foods offered anywhere.
Kansas City Royals, Kauffman Stadium

This ballpark bears little resemblance to the ballpark in which George Brett played back in the day. Much has changed since the park opened 51 years ago. The best seat - Section 128, Row D, Seats 1 (above) offers a terrific, up-close view of the action.

The worst seat stadium in the ballpark - Section 206, Row AA, Seat 2 (above) - leaves you more than 300 feet the pitcher's mound and with third-base-line foul pole neatly blocking your view of home plate. A complete of the overhaul of the stadium was done between 2007-09.
St. Louis Blues, Enterprise Center

The best seat in Enterprise Center to catch the Blues - Section 116, Row K, Seat 15 (above) hits all the right notes. These seats offer fans clear sound, is near penalty box, on the aisle, had padding, and gives you a clear, unobstructed view of both benches. This allows you can keep tabs of the players on and off the ice.

Its counterpart - Section 329, Row Q, Seat 8 - strands you high above the action, behind the goal. And the home team only shoots at that net once per game – during the 2nd period.
St. Louis Cardinals, Busch Stadium
The new Busch Stadium opened in 2006, just in time for the Cardinals to become the first team since the 1912 Boston Red Sox to break in a new ballpark with a World Series title. The modern-retro-style stadium is a gem. It offers multiple top-grade amenities. And the beer is factory fresh.
Our best seat - Section 5, Row H, Seat 3 (above) - puts you behind the plate, 8 rows off the field. This gives you a full and flawless view of the action – at just the right level of elevation to offset the distance to the outfield. And in being in the last row of the field box seats, you can make a quit exit to concessions and/or the restroom during the game.

But there are some hidden Black Holes inside Busch Stadium, and this one - Section 371, Row 7, Seat 21 (above) - is the worst. After 10 or 12 beers, the railings probably won't matter.
St. Louis City SC, Energizer Park
Energizer Park forms the center of what is billed as the "largest urban professional sports campus in the U.S." The area includes not only Energizer Park, but the St. Louis City team headquarters, store and practice facility. The Park seats 22,423 and contains a pitch that sits 40’ below street level.

Our best seat at Energizer Park puts you both on the shaded side of the field, at the middle of pitch, between both the home and road beach - Section 134. Row 10, Seat 5 (above). It requires entry through the VIP Pitch Club.

As is the case with most 21st century venues, there are not real "bad" seats inside this park. However, the "worst" seat in according to our analysis - Section 110, Row 8, Seat 20 (above) - leaves you on the far sideline, and exposed to the sunlight for the longest possible period of time.

Sporting Kansas City, Children's Mercy Stadium
Sporting KC plays its home MLS matches at Children’s Mercy Park. This venue holds 18,467 for soccer and opened in 2011. It boasts 36 suites and 5 clubs. A canopy covers every seat.
The best seat for fans watching soccer inside Children’s Mercy Park rests in Section 107, Tow 13, Seat 8 (above). That view places you a mid-pitch and gives a sweeping view of the action without moving more than just your eyes. It also offers quick entry and exit, plus proximity to all the extras the stadium has to offer.

The worst seat for Sporting KC puts you in Section 113, Row 29, Seat 6 (above). Of the two sidelines, this one lies the furthest away from the touchline. Its line of sight puts you solely focused on the goal, forcing you to look your left past everyone between you and the aisle – not to mention the 5 sections between you and the middle of the pitch.
How We Did It?
To determine our best and worst seats for each venue: they were scored on a 0-10 scale in each of the following six categories:
- View obstruction from seat
- Distance from home plate/center ice/midfield/middle of the pitch
- Plate/seat angle
- Exposure to sun, rain and weather elements (Outdoor venus)
- Proximity to concessions and restrooms
- Overall comfort
The best possible score is 60 out of 60 (scaled for the lack of outdoor elements for Enterprise Center), indicating a great seat. The lowest possible score is 0 out of 60, indicating a terrible seat.
