Tournament Winner: Canada (+115)
Canada won the 4 Nations Face-Off tourney last year, and historically, they have the strongest hockey team in the world. With the likes of Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, and Sidney Crosby leading the way, it’s easy to see why Canada is once again the favorite to take home Gold at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in men’s hockey. The roster is completely stacked with tons of experienced and skilled players, and on paper, they absolutely should win it all. Given you get plus money on Canada to win, we think you have to make them your best bet to win.
Tournament Winner Long Shot: Czechia (+2500)
I don’t expect Czechia to win the tournament, but as far as the long shots go, they certainly at least have a chance. Czechia has a strong roster overall, with NHL stars like David Pastrnak, Tomas Hertl, and Martin Necas leading the way. Plus, they have solid goaltending, with the likes of Lukas Dostal, Karel Vejmelka, and Dan Vladar. Czechia is a long shot for a reason, because there are simply better teams in the tournament. But I wouldn’t completely count them out here.
Name The Finalists: Canada vs. USA (+115)
This is the chalk answer, but I think there is a really, really good chance we see the Gold Medal Match between Canada vs. USA, which would be a rematch of the 4 Nations Face-Off finals. Canada won that game in an epic contest, and we think there is a good chance they meet again in the finals. After all, Canada and the USA are the best teams in the tournament this year, and they both have a clear path to the finals as both teams seem likely to win their groups and make it to the end. It’s the most obvious pick, but you can still take advantage of the plus money.

Name The Finalists Long Shot: Canada vs. Germany (+5000)
We are backing Canada to go to the finals, and that won’t change here. But for a long shot, you get pretty good odds on them meeting Germany in the finals. Germany has a decent team, led by Leon Draisaitl, Tim Stutzle, and Moritz Seider, plus they have Philipp Grubauer in net. As far as German Olympic men’s hockey teams go, this is one of the best teams they have ever sent to the games. I’d be shocked if Germany ended up winning this tournament, but at the same time, there is a reason we play the games, and this long-shot final has a chance to happen.
Top Tournament Points Scorer: Connor McDavid (+450)
Connor McDavid is the best hockey player on the planet, and he is the favorite to be the tournament points leader for a reason. If Canada goes to the finals as expected and takes home Gold, there is a good chance it’s because McDavid is leading the way for the red and white.
Top Tournament Points Scorer Long Shot: Mitch Marner (+4000)
Mitch Marner had an excellent run in the 4 Nations Face-Off, and I expect him to have another big showing at the Olympic Winter Games. Given these massive odds, you could do worse than taking a shot at Marner to lead the tournament in points, as I think there’s a chance it happens.

Top Tournament Goals Leader: Nathan MacKinnon (+700)
Nathan MacKinnon leads the NHL in goals this year, and his Colorado Avalanche look like they are on their way to winning another Stanley Cup. MacKinnon is one of the most important players on Canada, the team we expect to win it all during the Olympic Winter Games. If Canada wins Gold, look for MacKinnon to potentially lead the tournament in goal scoring.
Top Tournament Goals Leader Long Shot: Macklin Celebrini (+2000)
Macklin Celebrini is having an incredible season in just his second year in the NHL, leading the San Jose Sharks out of the gutter and potentially into the playoffs. He was a long shot to make Canada before the season started, but with the tournament now here, Celebrini is expected to be one of the most important players on the team. We expect him to get plenty of ice time, and given the talent he will play with, there is a chance he could lead the tournament in goal scoring.

We picked Canada to win the Gold Medal, and we picked Connor McDavid to lead the tournament in points, so it makes sense we would also back him to win the Tournament MVP award. If Canada wins it all, look for McDavid to be handed the MVP award when it’s over.
Tournament MVP Long Shot: Sidney Crosby (+3000)
Canadian captain Sidney Crosby has had one of the most incredible hockey careers of all time. In 2010, he helped lead Canada to a Gold Medal when he scored the infamous “Golden Goal” in Vancouver, but he was snubbed for the MVP award. If Crosby can help lead Canada to another Gold Medal this season, he could very well be named the tournament MVP in Milano Cortina.
