Now that the 2026 MLB regular season is upon us, the team at Bookies.com scored all 30 current league ballparks across 8 equally weighted categories, from ballpark views & sightlines to food & beverage, atmosphere & energy, unique features, amenities & comfort, location & neighborhood, value for money and historical significance, each rated 1–10, and converted to a 100-point overall rating.

Every park received a unique score with no ties. Parks were grouped into tiers: Elite, Great, Good, Average, Below Average, and Temporary (for the two non-permanent venues). So who has the best MLB ballpark? Bookies.com breaks it down.

Which MLB Ballparks Scored The Highest?  

With unmatched views of the city’s rivers and no shortage of unique features such as the Roberto Clemente Bridge and other elements, Pittsburgh’s PNC Park scored the top spot overall, with 85 points in total.  

While the Pirates’ product on the field definitely needs work, with Pittsburgh’s last postseason appearance coming way back in 2015, the team’s home since 2001 still remains among the half-dozen parks in the league that are firmly in the ‘elite’ category, speaking to the ageless wonder that comes from building the perfect baseball park.  

Ranking directly behind PNC Park this year is Camden Yards in Baltimore, which has continued to serve as one of the best venues in baseball despite its age (having opened its doors in 1992), with top-notch sightlines and food & beverage helping push the longtime home of the Baltimore Orioles to a score of 83.8, finishing just ahead of Oracle Park in San Francisco (82.5 points) and San Diego’s Petco Park (81.2 points).  

In the case of Oracle Park, the park’s location in China Basin along the banks of the San Francisco Bay suppresses offense, giving MLB bettors that love to play the under reason to celebrate as balls fall well shy of the stadium’s picturesque McCovey Cove that sits behind the right field wall.  

Historical parks like Wrigley Field and the Boston Red Sox’s Fenway Park (which ranks sixth overall, with 78.8 points) create elite atmospheres for fans that correlate directly with strong home records for the Cubs and Sox, giving bettors looking to cash in on a good home underdog play reason to rejoice whenever the North Siders or Sox take the field.  

Additionally, the unique winds that plague Wrigley Field contests thanks to the gusts that come in off nearby Lake Michigan make it one of the most famous atmospheric phenomena in sports, with the park looking more like a bandbox when it’s blowing out and like a gale force nightmare once it comes in off the Great Lake.

Other Exemplary MLB Parks 

While the six parks mentioned above were the only ones to score “elite” ratings overall, another four (Dodger Stadium, Truist Park, T-Mobile Park and Busch Stadium) managed to qualify for the next level down.  

Of the four “Great” parks above, Chavez Ravine had the highest score overall, at 77.5 points, while the home of the Atlanta Braves had 76.2 points and the Mariners home park had 75.0 points, finishing just above the Cardinals’ home park, which had 73.8 points in total.  

Dodger Stadium's longstanding place as the largest MLB stadium by capacity (at 56,000) and its unique location in the rolling foothills of Solano Canyon, with the San Gabriel Mountains outstretched over the bleachers and the sun a near constant during day games, make it one of the most iconic settings in all of baseball. It also happens to host the favorite for the World Series at nearly every sports betting app.

Truist Park is a relatively new stadium in the Senior Circuit, bringing the new idea of a ballpark village to life in the Cobb County suburbs of Atlanta, opening its doors in 2017 and anchoring the area known as The Battery Atlanta.  

T-Mobile Park has been the home of the Mariners since July 15, 1999, with the retractable roof enclosure providing the team shelter from the many storms that batter Washington state each year.  

While the circumstances outside the stadium might be stormy, the park itself remains a quality shelter for the M’s, scoring the ninth most points of any MLB ballpark, while Busch Stadium 2.0 finished off the top 10 leaguewide.  

Who Else Made The Cut?  

The closest MLB park to the top 10 and the first of the eight “good” stadiums was Denver’s Coors Field, which scored 72.5 points to finish just behind Busch Stadium leaguewide.  

The Rockies’ park, which dates back to 1995, is renowned for its mile-high elevation, with flyballs carrying great distances and allowing the park to comfortably lead the MLB in terms of total runs, helping MLB bettors cash in on their over wagers when Colorado’s involved.  

Another retractable roof stadium ranks behind Coors, in Houston’s Daikin Park, which has been the home of the Astros since opening in 2000, scoring 71.2 points to be the second-to-last park above the 70 point mark.  

The final one was Minneapolis’ Target Field, which had an even 70 points, finishing ahead of Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park (68.8 points) and the Mets’ Citi Field (67.5 points).  

One of the MLB parks that scored within the league’s “good” range was Cleveland’s Progressive Field (with 65.0 points), which joined “average” Kauffman Stadium (61.2 points) on the list thanks to having lower ticket prices that were attractive to local fans, not tourists. That hometown discount allowed the Guardians and Royals to have louder, more consistent home support on a game-by-game basis, all while helping their fans do so on a budget.

Which Parks Performed Poorly?  

While the MLB’s worst ranked park was the Athletics’ temporary AAA-level abode in West Sacramento (as they wait to move to Las Vegas) with 30.0 points, other bottom tier stadiums included the White Sox’s Guaranteed Rate Field on Chicago’s South Side (45.0 points) and Miami’s loanDepot Park (50.0 points).  

It’s also worth noting that the Tampa Bay Rays' return to Tropicana Field (from their one-year abode at Steinbrenner Field) won’t happen until April 6, meaning we won’t know where the team’s old (and future) park ranks until they do so, which is why we have them down based on where they played in 2025.  

Those two were the only “below-average” parks on our MLB rankings this year, while a host of stadiums, from Detroit’s Comerica Park (62.5 points) to Angel Stadium in Anaheim (53.8 points) were merely “average.”  

At the end of the day, all were left looking up at the league’s eminent cathedrals of baseball excellence such as Pittsburgh’s PNC Park and Baltimore’s Camden Yards, with both managing to score well above their peers thanks to putting some thought into design and gameday experience.
